She is one of the nicest women I’ve ever met. +She knows what she’s doing too.

It took three years for this lawyer, to handle the estate of my estranged father. We checked in once a month to see the progress, and none was ever made. Additionally, the office staff was rude and unprofessional. Our case was always just sitting on his desk. We were never able to actually talk to him as they would not return our calls. In the end they charged $350 an hour and took most of the money that was due to his heirs. I would not call him a lawyer, I would call him a crook.

This lawyer did nothing on our probate case for just shy of 2 months . The lady who greats you Sherry lied about having it done just waiting on Mr Cassetty to meet with the county clerk. Waited 18 days went to the office the Lady said she hadn't gotten any thing done on it due to health issues for a family member and had not been in the office for 4 weeks (spoke with her in office 18 days earlier). I told her sorry for her family's health problems and that I know what she's going through and asked about my case. She immediately got Mr Cassetty. He asked me to come to his office, I was not expecting an apology (and definitely didn't get one), I was expecting to here what we needed done. Nope he said I was unsympathetic to his Secretary and we were terminating our case.. Now that upset me and I stared crying and told him she lied. I wanted all our documents he said no. Which upset my son as him and Mr Cassetty got in a shouting match because he called my son a punk. Very rude and unprofessional, not to mention do care about their clients.

Took care of business

This is an awful law firm. The lady whom works there is very unprofessional when handling her clients. She will not return calls within a timely manner along with attitude within her voice when concerning a minor case. Most of the time she is either gone for the day or doesnt return for days at a time. And as far as the other attorney in this buisness I have seen him flirting his way with clients just so he can get paid. This is an bad example of a law firm and you should redirect yourself to someone professional in cookeville.

Like the last review mentioned, Kayla is very calm and poised. She is also very honest about possible outcomes and great about explaining the law, processes, and procedures. I try to be a good person and do the right thing, but I’m sure I am a handful as a client. I’m OCD about things. I can talk the ear off a brick wall. I’m bad about interjecting. You get the idea. I’m working on those flaws, but Kayla’s been great about working with them and being gracious about it. Though I’m sure she’s wanted to pull her own hair out a time or two! Ha! She’s definitely someone I would recommend anyone hiring! She’s ethical, honest, and her pleadings are beautifully organized to “chip away” at the opposing claims and build a strong foundation of proof. If you’re looking for representation, you really don’t need to look further.

Kayla Collins Cantrell is an excellent attorney. She is conservative, but more importantly she has integrity. She puts the well-being of the parties before herself in order to accomplish what is right and true. Integrity and humility are the qualities that we want in an attorney and mediator which describes her exactly. She is very through and cares more about the law and what is right for people than she does for her own agenda. Although Kayla may not have decades of experience she is refreshing and calm but steady in her approach in the courtroom. You will not see her display "grand-standing" or dramatic behavior in the courtroom but rather a coolness with poise and calmness while gradually chipping away at the opposing team. We understand that she grew up in Gainesboro, TN where she practices law. We personally believe that this is an advantage for her clients that have to appear in the Jackson County Courthouse. Since she has experience appearing before the judges there - she knows and has a "feel" for what the judges and court officials expect. Kayla was very devoted to our case and went about representing us with great attention to every detail. She is very much a pro when it comes to briefing you on any hearings and even educating you regarding the law and what is acceptable and what the possibilities could hold. She will not give you false hope but rather the truth about the law and what may or may not occur. That is what makes her such an exceptional attorney, she is truthful and honest. I must say that our hiring of her went on for an extended amount of due to repeated appeals and unreasonable motions from our opponent - but Kayla WON EVERY CASE!
