Daniel Cantwell is the hardest working and most thorough lawyer you could ask for. He actually takes the time to listen to your thoughts about subjects and considers them in his actions. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome on my recent divorce.
Also want to give a shout out to Whitney who is always diligently working behind the scenes. This woman is an asset to the team!

I first seen Daniel cantwell defending another client in a courtroom in Kingsport while waiting on my husband who he was also defending. To say the least I was very impressed. He is a super intelligent individual who isn't afraid to fight for his clients and it showed in the courtroom. He was also very accommodating and reasonable with his fees. I would recommend him to anyone facing criminal charges.

Mr. Cantwell guided me through a year long divorce with many hurdles. His hard work, knowledge, and experience definitely showed through out the entire process. I also have to thank Whitney his secretary for all the hard work and knowledge that she has. This law firm is top notch and definitely deserves a five star rating.

As the father of my son, who is going through a very difficult divorce and child custody fight, Mr. Cantwell proved himself to be incompetent. He gave my son extremely poor advice during a Mediation Agreement urging him to accept very limited supervised visitation. He was not proactive in fighting a bogus Order of Protection issued against my son. When Mr. Cantwell"s documented handling of the proceedings was reviewed by two separate lawyers, the were both astounded by the poor representation my son received. Mr. Cantwell was ultimately fired.

Lynn Shoemaker and his staff bring a rare combination of hometown congeniality and professionalism to their office. They made me feel totally at ease, even as I was navigating through what felt, to me, to be complex issues. Sensing my angst, Lynn stopped me on the way out one day and took the time to fully explain why he took my case, and offer reassurance that I was rightful in pursuit of settling in my favor. They always seemed to have time to take my (sometimes) random calls, never rushing me through or dismissing my queries. I highly recommend them!
