Update Jan 2020 My case was transferred around May - June 2019 to Mr. Vande Brake, another attorney with G Turner Howard Law office. Mr. Vande Brake and his paralegal went above and beyond to communicate with me as to what options i had with my case. He thought of new options to maximize my take home almost 3 years after my car accident. In early December 2019 Mr. Vande Brake was able to settle my case, although some lower than I had hoped for, but the law office was able to adjust their percent, as I suggested, to allow me to receive the minimum settlement amount i had wanted. I appreciate Mr. Vande Brake's continual communication and understanding for me to move on. June 2019 Before choosing an attorney I researched and read reviews for the Knoxville area and Mr. Howard had great reviews so I met with Mr. Howard and his paralegal after a car accident, 28 months ago. He was very charismatic and I felt like he would be the correct person for my case. Well 28 months later I am still trying to move forward with my life with very little help from this law office. I have spoken with Mr. Howard maybe 2 times. I have dealt with his paralegal for the last 28 months and have had continuous problems getting responses either via email or by phone when I request updates or have questions. I am blatantly ignored by her. It takes multiple emails and phone calls to get any response. Recently I had to call and email 3 days in a row after hearing nothing from them for 4 weeks. I was put on eternal hold and told the paralegal would call me back... that didn't happen so I had to spend time out of my work day. yet again, to call the next day. I was once again put on hold and finally transferred to a NEW attorney that has recently joined, not his fault by he did get an earful. Apparently they have now pushed my case onto someone new and that nothing had been done in the last 4 weeks as i had requested from Mr. Howard when we last spoke. I have done everything to ensure these people have all the information necessary to get this case settled; supplying every bill and itemized insurance costs, photos, detail descriptions, etc. They are absolutely horrible at communicating, staying on top of clients needs and cases. I honestly feel that i my case is not enough money for them to care about and that they are not doing their due diligence to get this over with. My case is a clear cut car accident this is not rocket science. And yes i understand cases take time, but 28 months is just ridiculous. I feel as they have not earned their 33% of whatever i end of getting. I have done every bit of leg work and have not seen a dime and am not sure when i will. I could have done this on my own. Very disappointed and advise others to seek someone else.
