Mr. Oscar Butler from Barnes and Fersten was the attorney representing me for my DUI case, and I could not be happier with him as my lawyer. He made sure I understood everything in the process and encouraged any questions that I may have had. His professionalism and care for his clients are apparent in his meticulous and detail oriented work. My case had a very fortunate outcome and I wholeheartedly believe that Mr. Butler was the main reason for it. I gladly recommend him and his colleagues at Barnes and Fersten for any of your legal needs.

Great help easy to work with and always there wen u need them

I hired and fired 2 attorneys and when I found Brandon I was able to quickly recognize his ability to excel in a number of ways that led me to a dismissal of a DUI. Specifics: #1 He paid attention to the critical details of my case and showed up to court prepared to attack the details in multiple ways for a 3 hour hearing. #2 His staff is courteous, helpful, and kept track of evidence and communications. Additionally, a former prosecutor works with him on every case which gives him an advantage negotiating with DA's- he has a contrarian to understand where to focus arguments and when to back off when it won't yield favorable results. #3 He is personable, has outstanding negotiating skills and that is exactly what you need to obtain a favorable plea deal. An attorney that tries to strong arm a DA is not going to help your case. #4 He is an expert in DUI's- he attends conferences, interviews expert witnesses, and had multiple ways to address key obstacles to overturn in my case that the other attorneys even knew existed. While he charged 3x more to get through sessions court- his time and the time his staff invested to provide a favorable result warranted the cost. The other attorneys I worked with scanned through the video footage, had no thoughts about blood tests, and the proposed arguments would have sent me to a trial with poor outcomes. There is no 'saving money' when one of these events happen. The cost of multiple hearings, a trial, fines, insurance, lost time at work, interlock devices and the major disruption in life of which no price tag can be accounted for are not worth saving several thousands of dollars up front. Jobs, positions of leadership and relationships are lost when convictions occur in criminal court. When I left court I told him that he wound up being one of the most important people in life and that I wouldn't forget what he did. My grandfather once told me that there are three critical relationships when hardship comes- your Attorney, your Doctor and a Pastor to encourage you to live well and make wise decisions in the face of challenges. I learned the wisdom of that statement when I hired him and his team. Well done Brandon Ferston!!

This a great law firm. I was represented by Brandon Fernsten and his patience, professionalism, and knowledge of the law are absolutely 5 stars. Not only does this organization have great lawyers, the office staff are kind, patient, understanding, and professional as well. I hired John Haines to regain custody of my daughter and they did just that! My case was complicated and dragged out due to certain situations that lasted well over a year but Kyle England took over and guided me along the way with no judgement and only the best interest of my daughter. They worked with me being in another county in Tennessee and always communicated very thoroughly and timely. Kyle always answered my questions and concerns with genuine care. Barnes & Fersten did me good. I chose them for my DUI 2 offense..They were very good at communicating my case and helping me through it. They stuck by my side and actually listened to what I had to say. They very much so accommodated legal help for my daily life including work schedules ETC..
