This is an honest, first rate law firm. Before hiring Barnes & Fersten, I hired a law firm that contacted me via first class mail after my arrest. That firm wasted about 2 years of time and didn't get anywhere. In fact, they were on the verge of telling me I would need to do some jail time and take a DUI, when I had a rock solid case of being diabetic without knowing it at the time of the incident. Literally the day before the trial, I visited Barnes & Fersten, laid out all the facts, they agreed to take the case and went to the trial the next business day. Of course, it was continued due to having a new lawyer. But, 60 days later, where the prosecutor had been inflexible for 2 years, there was now an offer on the table that did not involve a DUI or jail time. All the facts were the same, only the lawyer had changed. I highly recommend the team at Barnes & Fersten.
