For over 4 years Sam has been my attorney and has done an incredible job protecting my children and I in a highly contested, difficult custody situation. My case began on August 5, 2015. I had a local hometown attorney who was no where near prepared for the fight that was to come in the Knox County Juvenile Court over my child. My family and I decided it was time to look for another attorney. During a therapy session, my therapist had suggested a man named Sam English describing him as “a bulldog in the court room.” After a few consultations with different attorneys, it took one visit with Sam at his office for my family and I to say “this is our guy.” It was the best decision I ever made for my court case. Sam made sure to keep it aware to the court that though I did not have a political status in the court like the plaintiffs did, that didn’t mean I was any less deserving as a parent or a mother. Sam kept a “you hired me, I’ll do what you want” mindset while making sure to guide me in the right direction and educate me before making a decision.
