Sam English is the best of the best Family Law attorney here in Knoxville. He is extremely professional and highly respected in the courts. Take it from someone who spent years prior represented by significantly less persistent attorneys in the Knoxville area. I was losing hope in the legal system, until I found English Law Firm. He took on my custody case and in less than 1 year I got exactly what I'd been fighting so hard for. What he did in less than 1 year, other attorneys couldn't do in 8. He doesn’t drag you around or waste your money. He’s upfront, honest, and makes things happen. The process of family court, regardless of the situation is often foreign and intimidating. Absolutely amazing team at The English Law Firm! I would recommend them to anyone dealing with divorce/child custody issues. The beginning of a divorce was already tough enough, but having kids that have their whole lives ahead of them made them the first priority. I wanted the best attorney and did my homework. Scheduled a consultation knowing they’re highly recommended and left that day knowing they’re as good as it gets. Very professional, down to earth, honest, and knowledgeable. I knew my options that day and knew what was best for my kids. It’s not easy trying to get full custody as a father these days. This stuff is scary and overwhelming! If I could give a 10 star I would! I recently went through an extremely difficult divorce involving a large amount of property. I can’t begin to tell you the level of professionalism and CARING this entire firm had for me from the day I walked through the door. Due to concerns for my safety Sam and his crew worked diligently to get me out of the situation I was in an unprecedented amount of time. Sam and Kayla both listened to what I was saying and what my goals and needs were. Sam kept me on course with my financial goals despite my wavering emotions. They were soooo kind and COMPASSIONATE to me during one of the most difficult times of my life. His staff called him throughout the day to check on me during our depositions. It’s a rare thing for an attorney to say “we have all been very worried about you.” There are not enough words of gratitude for this team even down to front end staff. There is a class of attorneys that are above and beyond what one can ask for. A nutcase filed an Order of Protection, brought her infant kid to the case and the judge couldnt be more sympathetic. Mr English did not play any games like a lousy attorney would, he knows the law in and out and 1000% professionally got the case dismissed. The biggest thing thats making me write this review is he CARES about you, the case mattered to him, I wasn't just another piece of paper on his desk like I have been with other attorneys in Knoxville, he fought for me and fought with everything he has.

Sam ended my nightmare that has been going on for over a year. Had to fire my first lawyer as she couldn’t understand the nightmare I was living and how I needed it to end quickly. Sam took over and got it done. He was direct, knowledgeable and very professional. He’s worth every penny.
