I’ll preface this review with the only positive I have. Matt was the only lawyer who gave me his time over the phone on a Sunday morning. However, I wish DT Christmas, one of Matt’s lawyers, would’ve negotiated better with the DA, and provided much better communication with me and my wife. My friend was pulled over for not having her lights on. The young police officer requested a breathalyzer. She refused. They did not have a BAC, sobriety check, or blood test. She served 24 hours of jail, went to court for a year, and served over 100 hours of community service. Sounds like a simple case, and we felt it was. However, the final verdict was a DUI conviction, 1 year probation, an intoxalock ignition system on her vehicle, and losing her nursing job. We weren’t happy with the result, and the incompetence continued. The law firm couldn’t fill out a simple form three separate times to give to the DMV. The paperwork they filled out was illegible. We made three separate visits to the DMV. The lawyers claim they have provided better service to others accused of DUI, but my friend and I did not experience good service, communication, or good results. Their excuse for the poor communication and poor performance was the letter her last name began with. I you decide to use Ooten Law, I hope you have a better experience than we did.

With out getting into details of my case. I feel like I was represented the best way I could have by Mr. Ooten and his team. They took their time looking at all my evidence and I got the best outcome I possibly get. All in all my career may have been slowed down but my out come through their office didn't ruin my career. That was the most important thing when hiring them. They did what they said while remaining optimistic though out my whole process.
