Steve tells you what you want to hear and that's it. Doesn't return phone calls and was totally unprepared for court. It didn't matter, because my divorce case in Campbell County was fixed before I walked ibto the court room. He was part of it.

Terrible attorney. He represented me in a divorce, didn't file papers when needed, and I lost all my possessions because of his negligence. My settlement was completely unfair, and Steve simply made excuses about how busy he was. He had other cases to deal with. A zero rating would be better, but had to do a 1. UPDATE: I filed an appeal and WON! This attorney is a loser. Try Ben Houston in Knoxville instead. He is great!

Hurst is arrogant and rude. Slow as molasses. Would never recommend.

Wonderfully nice staff and very clean. They do constantly move the stock around which drives me insane but other than that, I'm happy .

I hired j. Stephen hurst as attorney for my divorce. Wost mistake i have made. He didnt listen to anything i said concerning what i wanted to happen in my case. He has no concern for his clients whatsoever. Dont waste the effort to consider hurst. Go somewhere else. You will be much better off.

Steve hurst is a joke to law. If he can complete a bar exam, lord help us. Because of hiring hurst for my divorce i now send my exwife money on a home i had 10 years before marrying her. She was allowed three trips to my home to take whatever she wanted before the first court date. Anything i was concerned with he said just go with it. Accusations were made in court against my family his advice was to throw them under the bus. His words in front of my family, not mine. When i was fighting to see or talk to my child which her mother rejected, he set up family therapy. Go somewhere else. Give your money to the other attorney. Your case will be handled professionally.
