First let me thank God for sending me to a good law firm... Thank the Claiborne team, but I'd really like to thank Att.John McNeil. John it wasn't an easy ride I know I stressed alot..,but you kept the course...Thank you for the great hard work it all paid off...Just want to say thank you and God Bless Al..

Short version: ***When working/talking with attorney John McNeil there was never any issue with feeling judged or discouraged. There was always timely communication, meetings, new information, and follow up’s post court dates. He responded to my questions and presented all information, leaving me without questions or concerns related to his knowledge and attention to each case. I would highly recommend this office and their services. Longer version: Hiring a lawyer for someone when you’ve never been in any trouble yourself is daunting to say the least. Will the attorney judge the situation, client, myself? Will they take advantage of my ignorance and inexperience? How will I know if they are actually good or just like a ‘car salesman’? The client had a very complex case with two current cases in Shelby county, a hold in MS, and then later complicated by a new hold and transfer for federal charges. This wouldn’t be a 100% honest review if I didn’t admit it took a couple days to originally hear back from the office (I recommend using their online inquiry instead of calling, it seems the electronic paper trail works best); but in those couple of days calling around to many other attorneys some referred me back to this office while others seemed to be judgmental and discouraging (maybe trying to make me feel desperate for their services). ***When working/talking with attorney John McNeil there was never any issue with feeling judged or discouraged. All cases were settled in a timely manner, some even earlier than expected. I would highly recommend this office and their services.

Mr. McNeil did an amazing job with my case. I would highly recommend him and the firm if you're looking for a criminal defense attorney. I hope I never need them again lol but if I do, I'll definitely be calling them.

To start off ,6 weeks after the supposed crime I committed my fiancee received a call saying I had a warrant issued for me,I spoke to several attorney's before I chose Claiborne Ferguson,they basically all said contact us after you made bail, I kept thinking to myself these people don't care about helping me. Finally I call Claiborne Ferguson and spoke with the paralegal they talked with me about every detail and I realized quickly I wasnt being treated like another criminal or client, but an actual person they cared about and wanted to help, then I spoke with Ramon Damus, he was also very interested in my story and my situation and he told me if I chose Claiborne law firm that I should hire them prior to going to jail and one of the many benefits was they would do everything in their power to get me out asap ,and keep my family in the loop and they did, once I finally got my arraignment I got to finally meet Ramone Damus and John McNeil and it seemed like they were more than just lawyers they cared like family. John didn't just get me out of jail he got my bail dropped from $ 20,000 to being released on my own recognizance, if I hadn't hired a lawyer at all my bail would have costed me much more than my attorney over double,in the end they got all my charges dropped and expunged I can never be tried again for this ,they really came through for me. I could go on and on about how great the entire Claiborne firm is including everyone from receptionist to Mr.Claiborne Ferguson himself ,but I think you get the idea,their all great people. Do yourself a favor and choose them like I did you won't go wrong! Thank's again everyone at Claiborne Ferguson!

Every amazing lawyer, two year process and he work with me and stunningly work the cast with some of the great staff at Ferguson law firm.

Mr McNeil , we felt, worked very hard researching all options that would result in the best outcome for our family member. There were several obstacles that needed to be dealt with considering the past history criminal situations involved but we are hopefully expecting the best legal outcome. Definitely would return to this form for legal help if needed.
