Thanks to Jason Susser and Joseph Robles I finally received my Green Card. During the process I had a lot of questions and could always count on them to get a quick answer. Thank you!

My family had a long battle with USCIS and our green card process. My case was eventually taken to Court for a Removal Proceeding in 2019 where one of the attorneys admitted to a false claim. Because I was younger at the time, my dad (who’s a first gen-immigrant) communicated with the attorney via email. Looking through the conversation now, I am angered and frustrated. When my dad confronted the attorney about the false claim, the response was “…but you are married to a US Citizen…” which is also not true. Please take the time to understand the severity of these situations, and as a representative for these families, attorneys at the very least should have an accurate understanding of each case. Families going immigration processes seeking assistance are relying on attorneys as professional liaisons in the Court. A short “Sorry, I misspoke” doesn’t cut it during a hearing to a judge and any mistake can be consequential. Hope no other family has to deal with a similar experience from here.
