Attorney Seth Seagraves represented me when a tenant damaged my property, moved out and claimed illegal eviction. He was able to get a verdict on my behalf as soon as the complainants rested their case! It was very fortunate for me because the judge indicated she believed all or most of the testimony she had heard and she was ready to fine me heavily....without hearing the truth! Seth and the rest of the Working Law team did an excellent job getting DUI charges reduced to Reckless Driving to eventually be dropped after completion of Diversion. A huge outcome for me as I could not have afforded any of this on my record. I was blindsided being served by my longtime landlord, who called me friend. He had often bragged about his great joy in evicting tenants, but we always paid on time and were his "favorites". After a 4 year relationship he served me and my partner. With his kind manner, he stood with us and stated our case. He was logical, professional & "matter of fact." The outcome was a ruling in our favor. I (and my partner) are most grateful. After court he met with us and advised exactly what the ruling meant & how to go forward. Further, Mr. Segraves told us to contact his office if there were further problems as a result of the ruling in our favor. We have had to contact him twice.
