Mr. John Drake and his assistant Ms. Kelly are who you want to be on your side if you want the best and serious legal representation. Mr. John Drake and his firm including Mr. Darren Drake represented me in several I mean several serious felonious criminal offenses that occurred over a couple of years. Most of my charges were lessened to misdemeanors, some were dismissed, he got me qualified in some reform programs and he also managed to have me keep my driver's license throughout the whole ordeal. I managed to get my professional license back and I am back at work and very employable. He also has the most reasonable costs that are very unbelievable. From the start, he exhibited professionalism and care, always going out of his way to ensure an aggressive defense was in place. He utilized creative methods and researched every detail guaranteeing the best results possible. Mrs.Barrier represented me for a custody battle and when I say she did not play games and saw my situation as a priority and not just another case or payment I mean that. She spoke with me and really heard me in and out the courtroom, she will put herself in your shoes and really try and understand what it is you want, and most importantly what the child needs. It was a long battle but she never once seemed to sweat while me on the other hand was dropping buckets lol but in the end we got W and I am fully grateful, and blessed to have had Mrs. Barrier show up and show out ! ! ! ! !

Throughout the entire process, Mr. Drake was readily available, and he demonstrated complete understanding of the situation I was facing. Going into it, I probably had an unreasonable number of questions, but he was patient with me and took the time to thoroughly answer my questions. I learned that hiring an attorney isn't much different than hiring a doctor - you can google random things and have WebMD tell you have cyanide poisoning. Or... you can talk to a doctor and find out you actually have acid reflux. I cannot say enough about Darren Drake. He was a lifesaver for my 19 yr old son who had a wild college kid night and couldn’t find his way back from a party. He was charged with both public intoxication and trespassing. I spoke with and basically interviewed 6 different lawyers. Darren was the only one who seemed to be proactive with a plan so that my son might not have to use his one diversion. The others would have all simply gone into the court room and let him use is diversion, no work or investment in his case on their part all for about the same retainer. Darren is obviously well respected and has a super solid rapport with the DA. In addition to his willingness to step up and work with the DA in advance of my sons case, Darren treated him with such care and kindness and was almost mentoring in his interactions with my son! Darren shared with my son his desire to help people and make a difference and he really seems to walk that talk! He was so reassuring and on top of things! His assistant was also wonderful and like Darren, she was excellent in terms of communicating and explaining things to us since we have never had any experience with criminal court. I am so glad we went with Darren and I cannot recommend him more highly!
