I’m usually not at a loss for words and can easily express myself but my husband and I recently had lawyer Calhoun review a possible malpractice case for us when no one else would accept it or take the time to tell us WHY they weren’t accepting it as a case. Not only did lawyer Calhoun take the time to review the records but he took a great deal of time, made an appointment to speak with us at great length WHY he was unable to move forward. Again, he went through the records during the conference call and pointed out legitimate reasons why or why not this would be a successful case. Reasoning and talking to us in a caring way and offering support for his reasoning. One would be hard pressed to find all these positive qualities in any one person because we have never, ever met an attorney so compassionate, professional and thorough and return phone calls or respond in a timely manner! We have dealt with several attorneys over the years, but Lawyer Calhoun is a PACKAGE deal that is CAPABLE and CARING!!

In 2015, Mr. Calhoun came into my clinic where I worked as a nurse. 2 days prior I had been in a motor vehicle accident where I did not have insurance. I found myself without a vehicle. My clinic was over an hour away and I was also a mother of two small children and a baby. One of the nurses I worked with immediately came to me and said there is a lawyer in that room. I have told him about your accident, go in there and talk to him. I hesitated due to not having any money or means to compensate him for his work. I took a deep breath and went into the room. I introduced myself and began telling him every detail in which I remembered. His compassion was impressive, his empathy was incredible. I was hesitant to believe that a lawyer could posses these two qualities. From that very moment he gave me his card and told me to fax him the accident report that day and he would begin working on my case. His deligent work was very impressive as the insurance company in which he encountered was not cooperative. Month after month he would call, send an email, or text to update me on his progress with this case. In every greeting he continued to empathize and support my every question/idea. As we reached a year together, we also found a light at the end of this lengthy tunnel. He was able to get my family and I compensation for my property, medical bills, ambulance bills, even loans that had to be taken out to pay to get my car out of impoundment.
