Ross Pepper personally handled my case, which was likely one of the smallest he's dealt with. He's a very practical attorney and will give very candid advice and guidance, so you don't have to worry about being pitched a moonshot idea so he can demonstrate his intellect or collect a fee - which is something I came across often. Despite my small case, he always made time in his busy schedule to answer my calls and questions. Of course I hope to not have to use his services again, but the piece of mind I have knowing I can give his team a call is really assuring.

I had a very poor experience with Ross. He remained inattentive during the entire process leading up to litigation. I literally had to repeat myself over and over and constantly remind him of details and he would still forget. What is horrible is that I spent countless hours doing this while he was charging me a hefty hourly fee. He would “nickel and dime me” when it came to everything. He also came unprepared to the case and of course we did NOT prevail as he expected we would. I do not recommend him at all. He did not do his due diligence in my case and his fees were ridiculous. He would bill for himself and his associates. I received multiple double billing statements where he claimed he was billing the same rate for his associate when his associate was “working” with him. Be careful they can double bill you for 17 hours at a time. If it showed they were doing the work I would have less of a problem with it, but in my case Ross was clueless.

Wouldn't take my case. No real explanation as to why.

Have nothing but good things to say about Pepper. I needed specific advice when starting my business this year and Jimmy Meeks was incredibly insightful and I would not have felt comfortable moving forward without his expertise. Highly recommend!

Why is it that attorney can choose their reviews? Mr. Pepper, never followed actions that he stated he would do prior to us signing the contract with him.

I am an AV-rated attorney and principal owner of a firm in the State of Louisiana. I hired Pepper Law to represent my firm in an arbitration proceeding against one of the largest corporations and its insurers located in Nashville, Tennessee, for their failure to pay my firm’s legal fees for services rendered. What struck me from the very first conversation was this firm’s not flinching a second to take on this mammoth in their area. I was then lucky to receive the guidance of one of that firm’s attorneys, Beth Alexander, throughout, and would highly recommend her as counsel for your business litigation. Ms. Alexander was always responsive to my inquiries, and easy to communicate with. I really appreciated her very honest and practical advice. Moreover, I appreciated the very ethical and professional manner in which she handled herself, particularly with opposing counsel, the mediator and arbitrator, and thus with the representation of my firm. Importantly, she was always wanting to ensure that the firm’s stances in the litigation remained credible. Last, but certainly not least, I was continually impressed with Ms. Alexander’s preparation at every stage of the litigation. I found her to be particularly adept at taking depositions and cross-examining difficult, recalcitrant witnesses, who were attempting to provide non-responsive or evasive answers. With what I call smiling insistence, she stayed on point and drove down until an answer was given, before moving on (which many lawyers simply fail to do). I also saw that she thinks quick on her feet so-to-speak when a witness provides unanticipated or argumentative testimony, and is able to utilize her knowledge of the facts to corral such witnesses. In reviewing several deposition transcripts of the corporation’s representatives, I was impressed with Ms. Alexander’s ability to draw out admission after admission that were important to favorable resolution of the legal issues in the arbitration. I should also mention that she time and again proved to be a very effective, succinct and persuasive writer relative to the firm’s legal position, whether authored to the court, mediator or arbitrator. I would certainly and gladly retain the services of Pepper Law, and Ms. Alexander’s skillful and adept legal counsel, if the need should ever arise again. Thanks for your great work, Beth!

Update on March 10th, 2023, Elizabeth Alexander admitted that she added my name to the agreement memo because opposing counsel requested my signature. She did not inform her client (my family member) nor obtain permission from her client. She directly added my name to the memo and forced me to sign. She not only sold out her client, but also acted as double agent in a conflict-interest situation. My sincerely advice to you, please think twice before making your decision. A law firm has been around for quite a while that has so few detailed positive reviews, which is a warning sign. Here is the original review. I believe Elizabeth Alexander from Pepper Law, PLC is an unprofessional and unethical attorney. One of my family members hired Pepper Law, PLC for a lawsuit and Elizabeth Alexander representing him. But I am not a client of this firm. I am not a plaintiff or a defendant in the lawsuit either. I kept my family member company during the mediation with my two young kids. Elizabeth Alexander asked me to sign the mediation memo which I am not a party to. I refused and asked her why I needed to sign. She told me that I had to sign. When I tried to leave with my two young kids, and she told me that I could not leave without signing the memo. I felt unsafe especially with two young kids. And I had to sign the mediation memo. She dragged me into a lawsuit that I am not a party to and that caused a lot of legal issues. Now I have to deal with the consequence of that signature. I think Elizabeth Alexander is not qualified as an attorney and what she did to me was unethical. I believe Alexander is one of the highest paid attorneys at Pepper Law PLC. If you are reading this message, please think twice before making your decision.
