Stratton Family Law was the exact help I needed to navigate my Divorce. I had never done anything legally before or even been present in court, so I first googled some lawyers in Nashville which sent me to a larger law firm first. I felt very unimportant and like the intake person on the phone couldn't wait to get to the next caller. They even wanted a deposit of several hundred dollars before I was even allowed to talk to or ask any clarifying questions from a law professional and wanted that money before I even had a zoom meeting with them. I immediately was turned off by that experience and went back to google. Thankfully, the "Family" in Stratton Family Law caught my eye and was my second attempt at finding a lawyer. The experience was immediately a night and day difference. The office building is a little stuffy on the way in, but once I met my lawyer, Micalah, she made everything so easy on me. Not only could I tell that this firm cared about me as a customer, but she was also great at answering all of my silly questions along the way without sounding condescending or any of the negative implications that the larger firm made me feel. They have a very fair and honest payment plan, she was prompt and kind in communications at every step of the way, and they overall made the experience a breeze even when I was emotionally struggling in court. I can't say enough good things about this place. I would definitely recommend anyone in a similar situation as me to come here. Thanks again for all of your help.

Micalah was absolutely wonderful! She was always there when I needed her. She would always return my calls right away and helped make the whole process so much easier. I would 100% recommend using her for a divorce matters you may have.

I would not recommend, Randi Benton was my attorney, however she’s not longer at the firm. She blew through my 3k retainer for only the first appearance in court .

I had some sort of a rare case that could have taken bad turn if it weren't for Randi Benton! She asked all the right questions to insure that I was getting all the information I needed to help me throughout the entire case. She never left my side. I've never had such an attorney that would go above and beyond to give them the most fair outcome. She's very honest, helpful, and easy to talk to. Just the fact that she would get back to me within minutes of leaving her a message even if she is super busy! She made me priority and I strongly feel she's the same with all of her clients! I have called Brian, the person over the firm. Not a courtesy of a call back. I had Randi Benson as an attorney. She spoke with opposing counsel multiple times. Then changed her whole demeanor toward me afterwards. She then spoke with my husband and proceeded to hang up on him because "he was talking over her." Literally, her words. Paid her retainer. She ate it up in the midst of saying "I was uncommunicative." Where did that money go?? No clue, asked for an invoice and haven't gotten it. In the meantime she petioned the court for a withdrawal from the case and filed a motion. She included opposing party for the motion to show up for court case on her withdrawal. Absolutely pitiful representation. Also, if you call the head of the company, do not expect a call back or your invoice of uncommunication that racked up $1,900.

I had a relocation case that I needed assistance with. Called around to several firms. Each firm asked what the issue was and then went on to try to get me to sign an agreement for representation (typical, I think). When I called Stratton Family Law, I was directed to Erica Davis. The first thing I noticed during our initial conversation was that she was kind and concerned. She listened thoroughly to the details of my case. She researched my case with the courts and congratulated me on how I had handled the case so far without formal representation. She gave me very helpful and effective advice of how she felt I should move forward (without representation). We did not speak on prices or representation at all. She invited me to contact her again if I felt I still needed representation and I did. From the beginning she put her all into my case. She communicated. She pursued all avenues to assist me in getting a swift and positive outcome. She was a friend. She gave me the pros and cons of every approach we were considering as well as how such approaches would affect my balance with the office. Which brings me to Mr. Royce Stratton. I can't thank Royce enough for his patience. I'm not a wealthy person. I live paycheck to paycheck and had to adjust my finances to be able to make monthly payments. Mr. Stratton called like clockwork to keep me informed of my balance with the firm and discuss my options of how to keep my balance low. With each conversation we got a chance to get to know a little more about each other and I was shocked at how much Royce knew about my case and my situation. I started looking forward to his calls. This firm held me down to the very end. I've never had a need for lawyers and definitely didn't know all that I know now about how the court system works. It's awful, but having a group of family law advocates (I never felt like I was dealing with a lawyer) by my side was empowering. Thank you Erica, Hannah and Mr. Royce. You all made this such an amazing experience!
