Thanks to Mr. Russo, I got my J-1 waiver, despite being told by three other lawyers that I would not be able to because of government funding that was involved in my J-1 stay. Mr. Russo was the first lawyer I spoke to about my situation that gave me sensible advice, a good sense of what to expect, and viable alternatives. I cannot thank him enough for his patience and professionalism throughout the long and complicated process. Because of government funding I received during my J-1 stay, there were additional steps needed throughout the process -- he always advised and prepared me for each step in great detail. He was not only able to provide advice that eventually led to a waiver, but his attitude and knowledge helped me to stay calm throughout the process despite there being many stressful ups and downs. I have worked with Mr. Russo for the past two years, beginning my career changing OPT to an H1B and subsequently from an H1B to a Green Card.
