The Firm was hired for a divorce. Didn't seem to feel like they fought the case for me, just went through the motions. Then bill after bills. Felt like i was not a client but a place where they could keep asking for money. Never got a real breakdown. Even went back to them after divorce for advice on child support and all they wanted was retainer fee. Not saying I dont understand about retainer fees, just feel like the divorce ppwk wasn't detailed enough where i have to keep going back to pay for any adjustments. Should have nail all that down in the first place. Guess 40k- 50K not enough for them.

My husband died before our divorce was finalized and Rose Palermo continued to come after him in his grave for more money. Her last invoice billed him on the day he died. I have a long list of grievances but that alone should speak volumes to the type of person you will be hiring should you retain Rose Palermo. Divorce can be hard and messy but try to find someone who can help you that has you and your children's interest at heart. That person is NOT Rose Palermo.

Rose represented me in 2002 in my divorce and now in 2018 her firm has helped me wrap up the last remaining term, child support ending this year. They were there for me all these years. I recommend them without hesitation or reservation.

I tried to retain Rose Palermo, but was told she was sick and was handed down to David Garrett. I filed for divorce on the grounds of bigamy. Tennessee does not recognize or ratify a bigamous marriage. The law states it doesn't even require a hearing. No division of property, no nothing to the bigamous spouse, YET David Garrett conspired with the opposing lawyer, along with then divorce Judge Muriel Robinson (who'd been married and divorced 6 times herself), and they facilitated an entire expensive divorce proceeding including division of property and other undue benefits under law, not to mention outrageous legal fees. At the time, I was uninformed as to the law which is what attorneys prey upon. Garrett had just done the same thing to another client the year prior and was reversed by the court of appeals, yet had the gaul to do it again. He's as crooked as most Nashville attorneys and judges. I found out after the "divorce" that my "ex" had several existing husbands while married to me, and she now is Director of the preschool at Forrest Hills United Methodist Church. I kid you not. Nothing is sacred in Nashville, especially at this law firm.
