I can't express how thankful I am to have hired Shipman & Crim. Speaking with Mr. Shipman on the phone helped to relieve my angst surrounding the ordeal. He informed me of my options and provided a timeline for each. The outcome of court was in my favor and Mr. Shipman was flexible with payments. I couldn't have asked for a better attorney.

Micheal Shipman had represented my friend and I last weekend in Manchester, TN and he did an awesome job. Very professional, knowledgeable, friendly lawyer and person! My younger brother received a DUI, and he couldn't afford a lawyer. It was my job to find reasonably priced yet high quality representation, and I feel we did just that with Shipman and Crimm (Joel Crim in particular). Joel offered a reasonable, flat rate for all non-trial representation, and took the time on the phone and in person to walk us through every step and possible outcome of the process. His experience as a former ADA made the explanation very clear and logical. Once we agreed upon a strategy, it was pursued immediately. On the day of the trial, Mr. Crimm had already pled it down to a reckless driving, 6 months probation, no suspended license, and no jail time, BEFORE WE EVEN ARRIVED. While I hope there is never another need for these services, if there is I will absolutely contact Shipman and Crim.

Michael Shipman did a great job handling my case. As a first time offender, there was a lot of anxiety surrounding the whole process. He was very professional and patient in his explanation of what I could expect and how I would need to handle the ins and outs of it all. He was also very flexible with allowing a reasonable payment plan. I appreciated that he was always able to be reached either by email or phone. As my first experience in the world of attorneys, I think Joel was the best I could have found. He was easy to reach by phone email and even text messaging and promptly got back to me. He was able to explain my case in a way I could understand and put my worries at ease by answering all of my questions. He critically assessed my case, presented me with all of my options, and ultimately left the decisions up to me. Joel sees value value in clients and works to vindicate them. I've worked with several attorney on various legal issues in the past, but I've never worked with an attorney that went beyond the call of duty as Lawyer Shipman. We trust him completely and trust is something we are short of these days. He worked with us to save money and in today's world that is rare and almost unheard of!
