Mr. Hedgepath is professional and knowledgeable. He is timely, and highly responsive. His kindness and empathy also made the process easy. Being a divorce lawyer, I cant say that I look forward to using his services again, but I definitely recommend him to anyone.

I retained Richard after being served last minute. Even with having limited time, he did an amazing job. He was very thorough and explained everything in great detail. My ex and I decided to go down the mediation route instead of engaging in the typical "Divorce Attorney" process, as it can be hard on the kids. In addition, no offense to Divorce Attorneys (sorry Richard), but I have been told the only people that win in the typical process are the attorneys. What we thought and what was reality was a little different in the eyes of the law, and Richard guided us using his many years of experience. I truly believe we both wound up in a much better position at the end without having to liquidate assets to pay separate council. In addition, COVID-19 threw a curve ball after we originally filed that required additional paperwork, which he knew, and the judge ultimately commended us for having prior to going before him. Knowing that paperwork was needed, ensured the final order was signed that day (instead of having to postpone further). I would recommend Richard to others in our situation without hesitation.
