Great job representing me. All my charges were dropped considering what the public defender offered me First I couldn’t be happier to have Mike represent me. Would definitely refer to anyone!!

I'm sure could be a good lawyer if you are the one paying him. However wouldn't properly represent me because he was being paid by my grandfather. Heard great things about him. He also would hardly answer my phone calls. The only time he did was when I called from a different number than my phone. I'd call him from my phone get no answer then grab my cousins and would get an immediate answer. Didn't even show up to one of my court dates and when I called and left a message about wanting to see him work to get something dropped that should have been easy he did not even attempt. I also asked for a copy of the contract between him and my grandfather on MY case and he informed me that I could pick it up in his office but he was going to now withdrawal from my case. (All of this after getting my court dates reset for over a time period of a year.) then in court he offered to stay after the judge already read his motion but I agreed it was best he left so he tried to make it sound as if I had terminated him so it would be difficult to get free representation. Thankfully the judge put it down as him withdrawing and me agreeing. I'd keep looking for a different lawyer if you are looking at reviews to see if you want him as an attorney. It caused a lot of stress and heart ache and a waisted year.

Mr. Ritter is an amazing attorney and his staff is the best! They worked so hard defending me and fighting for me. They are very nice but also extremely professional. They all went above and beyond the call of duty for me on many occasions. I would not even consider hiring any other legal team.

Horrible bedside manner. Started speaking vey rough and full of attitude to me immediately, got even nastier when he saw that my husband had filed an affidavit of Indigency because he had not started working yet after moving here. He asked questions without allowing answers to be said. His junior partner, Jonathan Edwards, sat in on the meeting and didn't say a single word at all. Completely ignored the civil rights issues because his firm "already has 5 civil rights cases and can't take any more." Then told me that I needed to look in a mirror and come to a conclusion because he was not going to be treated that way. Yet, he is listed as a Pro Bono attorney for the area, as well as one of the limited Civil Rights attorneys. What a joke! Extremely disrespectful, made me feel like I was the criminal, 'offers free consultation' but uses that to tear you apart instead of giving you a chance at an affirmative defense, or any kind of defense at all for that matter. I've never felt so low or dirty after talking to a supposed 'professional'!

I have left several messages for Lauren, requesting that she contact me back so that I could put down the deposit and retain her as a lawyer... After nearly two weeks, (I kept calling and leaving messages nearly everyday and know her secretary by voice) not a single word from her. I know you're from a small town, but this is not how you treat clients. Thank God I was not stupid enough to give them the money and continue to receive this same horrible treatment. I wouldn't suggest that anyone waste their time or money for a law office that obviously doesn't care about their clients.
