I found Mr. Colvin to be very knowledgeable in the area of workman's compensation. He worked tirelessly during the duration of my case. He kept me well informed every step of the way. I found him to be committed to seeking justice for what was best for me.

After being denied Disability 3 separate times, I thought my case was hopeless. It was also at a time when I was still battling my pancreatic illness, so I did not feel that I had the physical strength to appeal once again. Another local Attorney turned down representing me, because he did not think that we had a shot to win. A friend recommended that I speak to Atty Colvin before I give up completely. From my very first phone call to Atty Colvin's office, I was treated with respect, and confidence that there was a very good chance he could get Disability to vote in my favor. He combed through the huge stack of Dr's notes, the receipts from all of my medications, Dr's appts, hospital bills, etc. Atty Colvin took the huge burden of the intimidating paperwork off of my hands, and led me through the process. He always kept me updated on the status of the process, and never spoke in terms that I could not understand. The great thing was that during the time Atty Colvin represented me, I was able to return to part-time work, and it did not affect my case. The day that we had the hearing for my case, Atty Colvin presented the unique situation of my illness to the judge. Atty Colvin summarized what I had gone through over the past 4 years. I remember being so amazed that he took all of the things I had told him in our meetings; combined them with all of the information from the medical files I had given to him, and presented my story, my life, the pain and suffering that I had experienced to the judge in a professional yet compassionate manner. Atty Colvin even let me speak with the judge to add my thoughts to the case he presented. I told the judge that my illness was real, my pain was real. That I had worked ever since I was 15 yeas old, and had (at the time of my hearing) began working again. I was not looking to file Disability for long term, or to take advantage of the system. That my illness was real, along with the 11 surgeries/procedures that I had, and I was only filing again because I needed help with the medical bills that had accumulated during that time. When I left the hearing, Atty Colvin told me it would be a few weeks before we knew if we won. Leaving there, I knew that Atty Colvin had given it 110%, and I had no regrets having him represent me. Atty Colvin won my case, and I am forever grateful. I received 2 checks in the mail and these covered about 75% of the medical bills that I had accrued during my illness. I am so glad that I did not give up, and I will be forever grateful for meeting Atty Colvin and having him as my Atty. My family and I proudly recommend Atty Colvin to everyone. Please take my word that this man will fight for you when you don't have the strength to fight for yourself.

Mr. Colvin represented me in my social security disability case and was a fabulous lawyer. He did anything and everything to help me. He walked me through the process, was very honest, and could always answer all my questions. He would be my first choice if I need help again!

In 2011, I found myself without a job and my old injuries, not to mention my age, kept me from being able to find a job in the field I was trained for. I must say that this entire process was not as painful as I thought it would be. In the consultation, he listened carefully to my story and when I finished he said that he would take my case.
