I retained the services of Jackson Spencer Law recently for representation against my former employer for violating my rights as a person in a protected class of individuals and for wrongful termination. As a former paralegal, I knew what I was looking for in an attorney and their support staff, and I was relieved to find it with M. Neal Bridges. Their team took the time to thoroughly understand my claims, and the process was laid out clearly for me. It was very thorough, so yes, it took some time to get the foundation built, but the time invested was well worth it. In the end, I have been able to walk away from this ugly situation with my head held high; I was given honest advice and received direct answers to my questions. I felt like my claims were taken seriously and that I was treated honorably during negotiations with opposing counsel. Ultimately, Mr. Bridges was able to reach a settlement with my former employer, which was beyond my expectations- I had simply hoped that what happened to me wouldn't happen to anyone else in the future, so to walk away with a fair settlement was icing on the cake. Sometimes there is no justice to be had when bad things happen to good people, but I've always believed that we still have to fight back when we know we have been inherently discriminated against and treated unfairly. I was terrified of fighting my former employer as a global entity with deep pockets, but luckily, thanks to Jackson Spencer Law, I didn't have to fight alone.

Their communication is horrible. Not to mention nearly 2 years of stagnant progress on my case, and after doing everything they asked of me, and getting the proper documentation from the state to move forward, they decided to throw in the white flag and leave me to fend for myself. After getting the right to sue green light from the state they decided they could no longer represent me, with no valid explanation. They told me I could find another attorney but, because I wasted so much time with their firm, I’d be on strict time restrictions to legally get something done. I was always the one who initiated communication with them when I needed an update EVERY TIME. Their primary form of communication is email which is fine but even at that I was always the one who needed to dig and pry for updates. Not even once did I, in the entire time, verbally speak to an attorney. It was always different people who I spoke to. Such a huge waste of time and energy. They will paint the picture that they’re doing everything they can and working hard behind the scene, but nothing was done, everything was dragged out. And in the end, all this experience with this firm gave me was stress and disappointment on top of an already traumatizing situation. Highly do not recommend. This is my personal experience with this firm.

This attorney did not fully explain why they could not help me. They make it seem like they are assisting but at the end of the day they do not provide a solution. I am deeply disappointed in the results.
