Yovannna Torres and the Godsey Martin Firm was very helpful in my initial intake..it was greatly appreciated

Worst experience in my life.Rear ended May 30, 2021 by two vehicles. Communication was awful. My case has been repeatedly passed from hand to hand and left sitting on desks of former employees or caseworkers who didn’t have a clue for almost 2 years. I’m irritated with the entire way I have been treated and mishandled. I tried to support. Wish I had called someone else. I hate hearing their radio ads at this point. Do not use this firm unless you don’t mind them feeding bs and treating you like you’re stupid. I’m still in pain and I’ve lost a lot dealing with them. It took six months for someone to contact me after sending several emails in September 2022. Hate is a strong word but I’m there. I just got hit by them.

Amanda bell and Christina were very amazing. It’s been almost a year and I’m so glad that I chose this law firm. I hope they fix the lack of early on communication with the lawyers but other than that it was a great experience. I truly appreciate them!

Amanda English is very professional. She was patient and and kind and made us feel comfortable.She carefully listened to our answers and helped us get started with exactly what we we needed. We are very satisfied.

I was referred to them by a friend. My case started July 2022 & last time i heard from them was May 2023 & now that i received this letter from the person's insurance that a letter was sent to the firm NOW I have not heard back. I've been calling leaving voicemails. I will update this once I hear back. UPDATE: My case manager was Priscilla. They provided me with the service I needed. Answer any of my questions. They also kept me updated for a belief while. I was done getting with service in October 2022 which I'm told the paperwork will be sent to my lawyer. At the end of my process I received a phone call April 2023 about my case coming to a close. It took another 2 months to hear back. Juan was very polite and apologized for the lack of communication. I do refer to come here. The communication just has to be stronger.

I did not receive the experience I thought I would. Immediately after I called and put in a claim I was called by my attorney she stated I would receive a call back April 1st with an update with everything. April 1st came around I never got a call. I tried calling and leaving voicemails, not just through my attorneys extension but through the main line as well. I did not receive a call back. My mechanic reached out and finally got a call saying that they had dropped my case due to communication. I got ahold of the insurance company that would be covering damages and they as well told me that they could not get ahold of my attorney nor get a return phone call back. I expected a lot better from this company and was left with disappointment, to handle everything myself.

So far this has been a horrible experience. It's been 9 months and we haven't made any progress. I can still count on my hand how many times the firm has initiated contact. I've had to reach out to them every time. The settlement they're offering me is ridiculous. This has been a waste of my time and energy.

I got in a minor car accident in November of 2019 and since my husband worked at the company I choose Godsey Martin to handle my case. For the first three months everything went smoothly. After that I only heard from my attorney Susan Smith quarterly for the next TWO years. In that two years every time I had to initiate contact although I requested at least a monthly update about my case. She never made a move on my case unless I called. There was always an excuse for the excessive length of time. She' even told me she had more important/pressing cases or clients and often blamed/placed much of the responsibilities on her Paralegals. In the end she stalled my case, withheld VERY important information from me, did NOT keep me updated and after over six complaints got nasty/condescending with me.She also made decisions on my case against my wishes. She taunted me as she purposely stalled receipt of my settlement check and even LIED about receiving my funds. When I went over her head, she got even more vindictive and unprofessional with me over the phone. Had it not been for my husband's knowledge of the process & Juan (her higher up)I would still be waiting for for my check right now. I am so hurt and disappointed as I was trying to support a black owned company after having a prior similar bad experience with another personal injury law firm. Unfortunately I will NEVER do business with them again as it took over 2 years to settle, and the lack of interest in my case. I would 100% recommend going to another attorney who will get you real results faster and has MORE PROFESSIONAL attorneys. If you do choose them, save yourself the time and frustration and DON'T accept Susan Smith as your representation.
