Five star that's what up

Simple case that should have had my car fixed in a matter of days has dragged on for more than 4 months due to the person at fault insurance company not wanting to settle the claim. I come here for help and seem like they working together because the result is the same. Other person receives citation for damaging my car but that's not enough for this insurance company to go to work on my behalf. I gave them a shot and they disappointed me big time. Lesson learned, never again.

These people are clowns. I called them for a consultation after my car accident and they called me everday after between 8am and 9am in the morning asking if I would chose them as my lawyer. As soon as I did I stopped hearing from them. I started with one attorney and a week later some guy name Francisco called me saying that he was taking over my case. Every time I talked to him his response was "it will take about a week to get that info" after a month and a half they did nothing. I had to call 5 and 6 times to get a call back. I eventually fired them. DONT CALL THEM EVER!

Horrible Horrible Horrible Service!!! No one seems to anything. Calls not answered in a timely manner. Told misleading information. And takes them forever to complete a case. When you make a compliant, the person who's taking the compliant acts like it's your fault. I will NOT use them or recommend anyone to use this lawfirm. Please don't trust the commercial because you'll regret in the future.

This law firm is bogus...I called to help my husband get legal advice due to an accident he was severely injured in...TBI, broken femurs, dislocated fibula, broken tibia, bilateral fractures, broken shoulder blades and other injuries as well they scheduled an appointment with him and called back an hour before his appointment and stated that they would not be able to help due to the information they received from the police report my husband was at fault...right is right wrong is wrong...the idiot that hit him was going 70-80 in 35mph at night I could have lost my husband that night and our six children could have lost their father..oh well there's no amount of money that could have replaced him so thanks but no thanks for nothing!!! 👎👎👎

They are no good a year and 6months later I'm still waiting on my kids settlement. They don't even try and respond to any emails or phone call. Never seen a lawyer took 50% of my settlement. Please I repeat PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE.

Do not waste your time dealing with these crooks. This is the sorriest law firm I've ever delt with. Unless it involve a lot of money they will not return your call. I gave a 1 star just because the receptionist did answer the phone.

The accident was 04.18.16 guy ran into the back of me on Malcolm X and Taylor. I was behind 3 cars waiting for the 1st to turn left. On 04.19.16 I went to my pcp because I could not move the next day. A bill my health insurance will not pay because it was a accident. On 04.24.16 I contacted Godsey Martin to represent me. I was referred to DFW Injury Clinic by Godsey Martin. I started going there around the 28th of April. About the middle or end of May I informed Jasmine Savoy the Client Service Mgr that I had filed bankruptcy back in December and I was not sure if it would effect me or not or what to do. So I called the law firm dealing with the bankruptcy and I was told to let them know when the case was settled. I informed Jasmine of that and she stated that she would speak with the attorney and let me know. Meanwhile I am still going to therapy, having MRI's done and seeing the Dr @ Comprehensive Spine. On several occasions she told me that she had left msg for the trustee with no response. She assured me that things were fine because Hertz accepted responsibility meanwhile I am still going to the Dr, therapy etc. August the 4th she called me and told me that after speaking with the attorney the were no longer going to represent me because the trustee told them they would have to file petitions with the courts for the settlement and if they had to go to court it would not benefit me because then the price would go up.. She sent me the information to Hertz adjuster and a copy of the bills and MRI reports. Still never told me Hertz denied the injury portion back in June. So I continued going to the Dr because I did ask her to wait on sending in the letter of no longer representing me because I had appt. I was under the impression the adjuster had my bills and all I had to do was be released from the Dr.because she assured me i had a case. So I got a call from Comprehensive Spine on 08.25.16 and she informed me they got the letter and was told that Hertz denied the injury part and Godsey no longer represent me. I spoke to the adjuster at Hertz 08.25.16 and he told me that He closed the case June 5 because he never got a response from Godsey and with the minor damage to my car my injuries did not come from the accident but Hertz did pay for the repairs to my car after I sent the estimate in to them. I got messed over. I am 42 years old a mother of 4 and NEVER been in accident, NEVER played sports.I never had any injuries and my life time medical records would show it. I have a healing fracture clavicle my left shoulder, a injury to my neck that had to come when my head jerked back and forth because I had a headache instantly, I get muscle spasms in my shoulder and neck. Godsey Martin DID NOT do what they advertise that they would do..You get a call once a month with a line of BS. Now here i am with these medical bills and pain that come and go..I never spoke to the attorney. They are crap..

Another dodge the client business. Voicemails go unanswered or its full and you can't even leave a message. Smh

My time with Godsey Martin law firm was horrible. We had to get a lawyer because we were hit from the back at a red light. It was bad from the start until the very last day when I got my money. They are the most unprofessional people and business that I have ever encountered in my life. They don’t answer, or return phone calls. They just call you when they feel like it which is about once every other month. Even though they was not answering my calls, I know they were listening to my voicemails and getting my emails so I made it known what my concern was in my voicemail. Then my insurance covered some of my bills, and the lawyers insisted that I had to pay the insurance company back. After talking to the insurance company that was a lie, the lawyers was just trying to keep the money because if it was true I would have been in debt about $5000. But because we were smart and called the insurance company we knew they were lying and they would have just walked away with the $8000 they said we owed the insurance company. I am in school, and i was coming home on a weekend so I wanted to have my money before I left. I called the person that was working on my case and asked her about my check and she laughed and said yeah it’s here. So in my head, I am wondering why is she laughing and why didn’t she bother to call me and tell me that the check was there. We scheduled to have an appointment on a day when I was at home. I brought my dad with me because he is more educated with these types of situations than I am. He has been alive longer, so he has experienced more crooks than I have. Getting to the lawyers office the lady I was supposed to be meeting with had just went to lunch. We waited a while and they sent about 3 people in there to help us, but they were not able to answer our questions. By now we had been there a hour and a half and we were tired of waiting on the person they we had an appointment with but never showed up. As we were leaving another lady said well let me try to help y’all, we would ask her questions and she would answer them with an attitude and try to make us feel dumb for asking a questions. We asked her for copies of some of the things and she stormed out of the room. We then had another question which bothered her so she stormed out again and told us we can wait. First of all that lady was really unprofessional but may have been under the influence. After 2 hours of being there, we got to talk to a manager and we were finally able to leave with our questions answered. But honestly they walk away with more money than you, and you are the one that was in pain and will have to deal with those things the rest of your life. Point of the review: They are unprofessional, rude, liars, they will try to take all your money and leave you with nothing. I promise if you need a lawyer you can get anybody better than them. RUNNNN from them as fast as you can. In other words “Girl, don’t you go to ‘ijustgothit’, cause they are TERRIBLE. THEY DONT EVEN DESERVE A 1.
