A very complex, tenacious, governmental problem created by others had been dropped onto my lap. It was costing thousands of dollars per month. I sought Ms. Wilcox’s help. She and her staff persisted through layers of interference and delay from our government until their mistakes were corrected. She and her staff were very pleasant and professional and were extremely effective in resolving my problem. I recommend Briar Wilcox Esq. without reservation.

Briar is absolutely a no non-sense attorney. She is not going to coddle you by any means, but that's what you want in an attorney. She prepped me very well for court for which I am very grateful. Even on the days she was in court she would return my calls after hours or via email. I am very thankful I hired her for my family law case and would recommend her to anyone!

At the initial consultation, I was comforted by her compassion and seemed to understand my situation. However, after dealing with my husband and his attorney, I realized she was not consulting me about assets; but agreeing with opposing attorney. She never followed through, never prepared me for court, and even suggested that she could refer me to another lawyer if I wanted to pursue by letting the judge stop the illegal actions committed by my husband. I am still having to deal with the fall-out of haphazard actions by her, and her hateful remarks to the affect that she was finished and I was on my own. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone else.

Briar called two hours late for the consult, and I was charged $300 for the 30 minute conversation. She spoke most of the time not listening. She acted as she was supportive of opposing side. I highly regret paying the consult fee since there are so many really good attorney's that do not charge a consult fee.

Her assistant called me back and told me her next appointment was a month out. I emailed back asking for that appointment and that I had money for consult and retainer fee twice and was never contacted.

Briar and her staff were very professional from beginning to end of my case. She is very knowledgeable of family law and understands how the family court system works. She and her staff were very easy to work with and promptly answered any question or concern that I had during my case. I would definitely recommend Briar for any legal family issues.
