Bethel is an amazing attorney! I am a young father that was going through a battle to see my daughter, after filing child support on myself through the office of attorney general I was placed on child support. My daughter mother still did not allow me to see my child. After calling over 10 attorney's being quoted 10,000 retainer fee I finally was referred to Bethel! The attorney was straightforward with me from day 1, she also made me feel alot comfortable about fighting for my daughter by educating me on texas laws and procedures on how to handle my type of case. After a year of court dates and stressing and not seeing my daughter the attorney was finally able to help me and my daughter mother come to an agreement and eliminate the OAG from our case. I was overwhelmed with little hope when I found myself facing definite prison time for 3 felonys charges with 2 or more prior convictions. My judicially naive partner told me "Believe that something miraculous will happen." I said, "Nothing miraculous is going to happen! I'm going to prison." I had accepted it and was prepared to sign for prison time that morning. I was 100% real with Bethel about my struggles with sobriety and she carefully listened to everything. She gave me a list of things that I needed to do on my part to help and said that as long as I did those few simple things, stayed sober and was serious about changing my life, that she would go to bat and fight hard for me. The DA offered me 15 months. Bethel got it down to 6 months which was a miracle and also the bare minimum punishment. Everyone was impressed with the results & I was very relieved that she got the best deal possible. I expressed to her how Deeply it would affect me if I missed my only sister's graduation in May. Bethel listened & truly cared. I watched her negotiating with the district attorney which she was not afraid to do. Seeing her work was incredible and inspiring. I was astounded when she told me that she in fact had gotten me a better deal! Better than the minimum time?! How was that possible?! She got me 1 day jail time and made it time served so that I didn't have to spend one minute in jail. I didn't have to go to prison or do probation. I didn't have any fines or fees. Now, I'm sober and living my best life and will be attending my sister's graduation in May. None of this would have been possible without the support and representation that the brilliantly talented Bethel Zehaie provided. I owe my life and freedom to her. Turns out, a miracle did happen! This woman is a superstar attorney who makes magic happen in the courtroom, especially for those who think they've gone too far and there is no hope for them. She didn't earn a dime from me and was court appointed but treated me like her most important client. I could tell my life really mattered to her and that I was safe in her hands. I am grateful to God for Bethel Zehaie and would do anything to be able to bless her life the way she has mine. SHE IS THE BEST OUT THERE!
