My housing discrimination case had been filed in 2015. It all started when the Condo I was renting started harassing me on the weight limit of my service animal ( Large Dog ). After complying with the HOA which included disclosure of my disability and medical records. Which by the way is against the law. They still weren't satisfied. Months of harassing and threats of eviction and 100 day charges ever day my service animal was on the property , I finally gave up and moved after 6 months of hell. I figured I would be okay considering the City of Dallas was on my side. This case was moving slow 2 and half years went by. That's when I stumbled upon a case similar too mine. Randall E. Turner was the acting attorney on the other case. He won and helped his client keep his service animals. I contacted him immediately. After several conversations he agreed to represent me. He thought it would be good to Have Don Feare representing me too. He too is an animal rights activist and well known in the community. He has handled cases similar to mine, with a proven track record. I felt some much better and not so stressed out knowing that him and Mr. Turner were representing me and other disabled people like myself. Both very active in the community and have the up-most respect for the law when it comes to animal rights, We settled at mediation and I'm happy with the results. I got way more then expected. Thank you, you both did a Great job.
