Divorce is a challenging life experience and you want someone who is honest and experienced to represent you. Harris Cook LLP was just that for me, it was a lot of unknowns that they guided me through and help me achieve the best possible outcome. Lin Morrisett is an outstanding attorney. When I called for him he answered or called me back promptly, which is not the type of service you get from most attorneys and law firms. He handled my case effectively, professionally, and was very honest with me about expectations vs. reality which I greatly appreciated; many attorneys will tell you whatever you want to hear so they can get your business and then can't deliver. Lin is attentive to his clients' needs and works hard to get the best results. Harris Cook is not the cheapest firm in town, but that saying "you get what you pay for" is definitely true when it comes to legal matters- don't skimp on this kind of work, pay for the best. I highly recommend Lin Morrisett.

Lin Morrisett is an inept, lousy excuse for an attorney. He's callous, corrupt and manipulative. He should step down from this profession due to his ineffective and greedy nature he has displayed.

I went to David to handle my divorce. He took what seemed complicated and certain to drag on, resolving it quickly and cleanly. His staff was a pleasure to work with. I have since referred numerous friends to his firm. highly recommend!

Never again, there's no communication, I have never dealt with such none professional law firm. I guess you can't run for judge and practice law at the same time.

Great and easy in every way

I initially hired David Cook to represent me in my divorce as, after interviewing several lawyers, he was the only one who listened to my specific concerns about my children and some special needs they have and he was also the only one who advised me of the most cost effective and least litigious method to proceed. Unfortunately, I ended up having to file and, although navigating the process of my divorce after almost 20 years of marriage and the impact it had on my children was so difficult and hard to see them hurt, having the legal expertise and counsel of David and his team made what was such a scary and painful process one that I felt so very well represented in and taken care of through. Most of all, I felt confident of his professional and compassionate counsel and representation in seeking the very best way to lead my children and I through this process.
