Mr McDonald's firm took my case on a very short notice, which required them to come in on the weekend and stay late in the evening to prep me for my Informal Settlement Conferences with the Texas Medical Board. It was very apparent that Mr McDonald had an extremely good professional working relationship with all the members of the TMB, including the attorney "prosecuting" my case. He knew the background of all the various members of the TMB legal team and how to respond to each of them. His firm secured me the best possible outcome from the ICS hearing. After the case, Mr McDonald has contacted me many times to personally follow up on my recovery and put me in touch with other physicians in my area involved in recovery.

If you want a lawyer who cares about you personally and genuinely wants to help you, then Jeff is your guy! Jeff is also incredibly smart and knowledgable, only once did he not know an answer right away but instantly found it and was honest about it. I talked to Jeff (yes I felt very comfortable calling him by his first name even!) about my eligibility to the board of nursing (BON). When I was much younger I was arrested for some minor misdeamenors and the BON requests information and a personal account of ANYTIME you have ever been arrested. I was worried about what I should write and what all information I should send in. Jeff was more than helpful! I was able to email him or call him throughout the process; also he let me send documents through email for his review, so that I didn't have to venture all the way to his office. Jeff also helped to give me a guide as to what I should write in my declaratory order to the BON. This has been such a scary process where I often feel like I am looked at as a terrible person that should never be a nurse. Jeff helped eased my mind, he was never judgemental and told me the truth about what to expect. He assured me that my previous arrests should not totally prevent me from becoming nurse and I feel confident that if there was a problem or issue he would tell me straight up. I also know that Jeff has worked with much bigger cases than mine and know he can handle anything! But, know that Jeff will take your case seriously and professionally no matter how big or small! My case is still pending with the board (as now I only have to wait to hear from the BON), but Jeff requested I let him know when I hear the results. It is nice to know that he really cares how it all turns out. Don't hesitate he's the guy for you! Jeff is a great lawyer and will work hard with you to get the outcome you deserve.
