I have to say. I definately feel a bit gipped after using this firm. I paid 7k upfront for them to immediately try to send me to pretrial diversion, when we could have easily beat the case. He never even brainstormed fighting the case. Even when it was apparent the officer put substantial lies about my sobriety & behavior at the time of the stop on the affadavit. It was extremely apparent because i had them request body cam. I also had them request car cam, which they never did!! Completely ignored my request for car cam to prove the officer lied, because they wanted to send me to PTD. I even looked up the law i was pulled over for and confirmed with the attorney that I never even broke the stipulation i was pulled over for. Still just wanted to send me to PTD instead of even speak on my request to try the case. I NEVER had immediate contact with my attorney. Only to the secretary who can’t tell me anything about my case, and would just tell me to wait. Even when I had to speak about immediate concerns, I couldn’t. There was a time there was an important meeting and i tried to confirm my presence was required and where. The meeting ended before I heard anything from the firm, i only knew i was in the right place from the judges confirmation!! Which is ridiculous, because why did I pay 7k and deplete my savings for you to not be present to assist on matters pertaining to the case. Not once did they even think of actually trying the case. There were blantant lies on the affadavit from the arresting officer that he took to Magistrate for a warrant on me and it was extremely apparent. And, I feel like they didn’t fight for me, instead went for the quickest least labor intensive option for thenselves...

100/10 experience. I have never been in legal trouble in my life & after someone tried to hurt me, I warned local moms on a FB page. This person then decided to try & get me in legal trouble for "doxing". I was frantic, afraid & had no idea what to do so I started looking up lawyers. I knew I needed the best in ATX. I interviewed a few other local lawyers but they all were missing that personal touch that I was looking for, I was just another client & it seemed no other lawyer would go above & beyond. I immediately called him in tears, he took my phone call right away & I explained the situation, he assured me that everything will be okay & he took on my case. He took every bit of my stress away. His communication was top tier, he was extremely professional & I am just SO grateful for him. He was able to get my bogus warrant recalled & my case dismissed completely. Kevin Bennett did a fantastic job handling my Burglary of Habitation case with the utmost professionalism. He responded to all my questions and concerns regarding my case in a timely manner. When I went inside his office to meet him for the first time with my family he clearly explained what all of my options were for this type of case and helped me decide on the best one. He would always keep me updated on the progress of my case and tell me any court dates that I needed to attend. what i have experienced with Smith & Vinson was really amazing. From the time i called Mr. Smith I was very reassured and knew that I was in the best hands position from how we were communicating . After that He Gave to me Pamela Murillo (and her team )to take care of my case and she was every time and every moment available and answering for any questions I ever had after I found myself in and got the case dismissed it was a very big joy to me as i was excepting to go to court for the decision after my Class and even before my appointment date my case was dismissed.

I was in a very difficult situation. However, Kevin helped me through it. He got my case dismissed. He was always available if I needed him. He does charge a bit but he is definitely worth it!!

My son was detained for possession of controlled substance. I contacted Mr Bennett and he quickly got my son released on bond and ultimately got the case dismissed. He is very prompt with communication and I never had any doubts he had my son's best interest at heart.
