I have known Stephen Stewart for the better part of a decade now. He has represented me in the only two MVAs I've had happen: one minor accident 10 years ago, and one major one recently. Both cases were handled with the same professionalism and consistency even though they were many years apart. He does Texans proud: he's fair, honest, and a hell of a hard worker. He will fight for your justice to get those bad guys. We may root for opposite Texas football teams...but when there is an accident, I want him on my team 100%. Their experienced attorney left the firm so they gave me one with no experience, without telling me, who failed utterly. It seemed to me that he was unable to make what seemed to be simple arguments, neglected to even interview witnesses, and was unable or unwilling to challenge a fallacious determination by the court that was crucial to the case. After that, I never heard from the firm again to discuss what happened or alternatives. My case was small so I guess their interest and attention was proportionate. If you are a client, set your expectations low.
