I hired Ali Akhtar to represent my son in a recent case for eviction. My son was being sued by his estranged wife for his half of mortgage payments and was trying to evict him and his father from their marital home. She lied on the petition, falsely claiming they were tenants in the home. My son had tried to get his trial postponed, because the lawyer he had originally hired was called out of town. He was unable to get a postponement, which gave him only 2 days before his trial to find a lawyer to help him. Mr. Akhtar accepted his case on VERY short notice, and made the time to find documents that my son's estranged wife had filed that helped expose some of the lies she had told in her petition and in the courtroom. He was very fast on his feet in debunking her lies to the judge. I was very glad to have our case in Mr. Akhtar's very capable hands. My son and his father were allowed to stay in the house, and did not have to pay any of the money his estranged wife was suing them for.
