Michael consulted our business involving a very complex legal matter including a total loss fire, suits filed by insurance companies, and more. It's a complex mess! Michael was very responsive and not only calmed our nerves, but advised us clearly and thoroughly as to next steps. We are now on a clear path and feeling at ease with our choices. You know how it is when you get advice from a lawyer, a doctor, an accountant... and you never know where they're coming from..? Are they advising you on the easiest out for them? Are they telling you EVERYTHING you need to know? Are there any other angles that you should know about before you make a major life decision? Michael treated me like I was his own daughter and gave me the same advice he would give her if she was in my situation. How do I know? I asked! Michael was always supportive. He made sure I got all the care I needed. He reached out to my doctors and hospitals and negotiated reduced fees and he always delivered his services with a smile and a reassuring voice. Michael was referred to me by a mutual attorney friend who initially wanted to take my son's case but admitted the potential award would not be sufficient to justify his firm's time. After reviewing the facts of my son's injury, Michael accepted the case. This was my first experience dealing with a personal injury claim; a suit brought against a family whose son sent my son to the hospital for emergency surgery for a shattered tibia/fibula. The legal drama was around getting the families whose children witnessed the injury to provide if necessary a deposition. Michael handled that part with extreme care. Although most families participated willingly; one family that did not want to get involved I assumed would be a roadblock. Although a subpoena would have solved that problem immediately, Michael took the time to explain to the reluctant family what was involved and assured them their child's involvement would be a last resort. All he needed was to ensure he had sufficient witnesses that saw the same thing. Michael got the interviews; the kids never ended up in court to testify and not one bridge was burned in the process. I cannot be happier with the outcome. My son received a fair award; Michael's out of pocket expenses which were deducted from the award were reasonable and most importantly I was made aware of them when they were incurred. I cannot say enough good things about Michael; he clearly knows Personal Injury law; suing a family's homeowners insurance is a slippery slope. Insurance companies always look for a reason to deny coverage; Michael walked the legal tight rope with perfection. This was a tough case to settle, and not a huge award; we all knew that going into it. Michael was committed to helping my son; I could not have asked for a better attorney.

Mr. Lovins took on my case which was not going to be easy at all but took it on away. he was upfront about everything on how the case might go. kept up me up to date on what was going on. took a little time but he did come thru and got me a settlement so I have could surgery on my shoulder. Mr. Lovins did a great job and I would have him represent me again for sure.

Here is the best way to describe Michael: Highly professional, impressively well-dressed and well-groomed. Very nice, friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. He knows what he is doing. He will get you your money back. Insurance companies hate him! I was involved in an accident and the insurance company of the party I had an accident with, was suing me to pay about 5000 dollars. Here is why insurance companies hate Michael: He turned around the situation and had that insurance company pay us double what they were suing me for! At the end, I received a check for about 7000 dollars. At that point of time back in 2010 Michael's deal was 2/3 for the client 1/3 for him if he won. He wouldn't charge you if he didn't win the case. I think this is more than fair for the client. Now, you've got an accident? You are wondering what to do and who to talk to? After reading this review, it should be very clear that the answer to your question is easy. You simply call Michael now. Also I'm not getting paid here to promote Michael's business. I don't write feedback for businesses cause my time is way more valuable but I absolutely like Michael and these words come from my heart. Best, Amir

This is the second time that I have used Michael. I have found him to be aggressive yet smart in his approach to dealing with the situations. I would not hesitate to recommend or use him again.
