With a seemingly endless number of law offices to choose from, I chose Evans Family Law Group to represent me. It turned out to be a great decision. My matter was resolve in a rather short amount of time and more importantly, in my favor. Everyone I had contact with at EFLG was helpful, kind, and interested in providing great care. Ms. Rios, Ms. Dixon, and Ms. Zapata were on my team, and really stepped up to the plate when I needed them the most. Evans family law firm - Katherine Obando - took forever to take care of my divorce. They seemingly forgot to file our papers, until we kept asking what was taking so long. They had claimed to have filed, but the clerks office said that was not true. Once it was done, I was glad it moved on. Since then, I have had to file for enforcement,. I tried to rehire the firm, thinking it would be easiest since they know the history. I have had 2 phone call appointments where no one calls, several unanswered emails. I had actually referred a friend, and she gave me Jimmy Evans personal cell, and said he had said to message him directly. Again, no response, and no answer to voice mails. I can only assume this to mean they know they did an awful job. I've seen two attorneys since, and both attorney's I have consulted have stated it was worded very poorly, and is very unclear. I am having to pay to have parts of it clarified. For over $6,000, I would have expected more. I highly recommend you look elsewhere!
