He basically was trying to hit on me the whole time he had my case. He made zero progress and was admonished by the judge, often, for his lack of preparedness. If you want to lose your case and your money - this is the man for the job.

Wow. Where do I start? This guy talks a BIG talk. Put him in front of some MEDIOCRE Attorney and he folds, like a bad poker player. When I hired him, I thought he had myself and my CHILDREN's best interest at heart. Again, WOW. I have two children and my ex was able to hide assets very easily. Every time I challenged Mr. Doyal, all he could ever say is that my ex and his Attorney were ""liars". I guess he got bullied. Considering his retainer and price per hour, one would think he would be capable of uncovering hidden money that was mine prior to the marriage, but....no. There were no proper hearings to hold my ex accountable. In the end, I walked away with $6500, an EXTREMELY menial amount compared to what we had (from my family) -EXTREMELY! A small portion of child support & about 20k from a 401k from my ex who had been a highly successful VP of his company. The big number is on my my credit card balance, for Mr. Doyal's services and trying to support my children during the divorce. I am now living in an apartment while my ex just bought a new house, thanks to my family's generosity prior to my marriage and he also owns a fab boat. The beauty is that Bret's downfall has made me stronger than I have ever imagined I was capable. I am becoming financially capable on my own. But, Bret is not worthy of winning against Counsel wearing Dockers. Be wary. You be the judge of this big talker. His well pressed, custom suits are, more than likely the handiwork of his Judge wife. Don't be fooled. I wish he'd worn Dockers.
