I had a small issue obtaining my PIT license, so I found Mr. Dest's law firm online. A patient filed a complaint against me after finding out that she was having a male baby. She was disappointed to be having a male. I discussed the gender and genitalia with her husband. She filed a "sexual assault" against me to TMB that day after leaving my office. My malpractice company recommended Darrin and his firm. Darrin was very knowledgeable, aggressive, and timely in responding to TMB. I just wanted to be done with this humiliating charge. Darrin was great and told me that we wanted the charge dismissed. He responded to TMB about what constitutes a "sexual assault" according to TMB's statutes and strongly requested the allegation to be dismissed. Darrin represented me for a Show Compliance meeting with the Texas Medical Board after my former employer made a salacious and damaging complaint against me which threatened my professional future.
