Doesnt work hard for his clients, hes old and tired , doesnt care about his clients etc... He took my money and did nothing for me ,I had to call a week in advance just to speak to him on the phone.... He always contradicted himself all the time... His staff was helpful, but If you are in a bind and your freedom is on the line you would have to be a fool to hire him... Just want to Express this message to people before they spend their money and end up in jail

My family hired Mr.Makin to represent my brother and took $5,000 from us right away but never once met with us in person. During my brothers hearing he only said a few words, didn't even look interested in representing my brother, we had so much evidence and he seemed not to care. He took a total of $6000 from us and when asked for proof of what he has done I was sent 2 pieces of paper I could have written myself. He refused to give us any refund. The office always gave us the same answer everytime we called. He did not due his part as an attorney.
