Stephanie is FABULOUS!! She was thorough, compassionate, understanding, and patient!

The process of preparing legal plans for when/if my husband I were ever no longer here or unable to function at our full capacity was daunting. We worked with two other lawyers prior to contacting Stephanie who never were able to get us to the point of completing anything. Stephanie has a very clear, thorough process which forced us to stay on task and move forward all the way to signing a document. Everything from detailed worksheets to help us think through potential situations to asking for payment upfront so we knew we were already on the hook to finish helped guide us to signing. We had a fantastic experience and can't recommend Stephanie enough.

We were referred to Stephanie by a colleague for estate planning. I imagined it being a preset of documents that we had to just input our names in and just sign. I was completely wrong! During our first meeting, Stephanie took the time to learn what was important to our family and catered our estate planning to us. Stephanie and her team took the time to explain the process which made completing our end easy. And when we did have questions, Stephanie was quick to respond. Stephanie is very personable and easy going, the process seemed more like working with a friend/family member than just another attorney. 10/10 recommend!

Stephanie Hon is a God-send. She recently helped dear friends of mine with their estate planning. They own a business and the gentleman is having some major health issues. My wife and I just finished estate planning with Stephanie and we couldn’t recommend a better person for the Job! When we started off the process we came with a huge list of questions to which Stephanie showed her incredible knowledge by thoroughly answering every item we had. She explained our options in terms we understood (Did you know a trust is like a shopping cart?) and helped us figure out our needs and create a custom plan to meet them. We have 2 grown daughters and she is helping them make a simplified plan for themselves too. We hadn't thought about them needing it even in their 20's without kids of their own, but Stephanie pointed out that once they're over 18 we can no longer automatically as their parents make medical decisions or even see their medical records without permission in place. She was also quick in getting things set up and kept us moving along without being pushy when she needed things from us. My parents are also trying to get their estate plan re-done using someone else and they started before us but haven't even completed the initial step. I wish they'd gone to Stephanie!

The wife and I decided we needed to update and/or complete documents such as our Wills, Living Wills, Power of Attorney for Medical and other, well, let me just say everything to do with one’s estate living or deceased. So, I decided to do a bit of investigation. I checked into her law school, her education, her work history, and for any problems associated with her career. Her college and education were superb, she had a stellar work history, and there were no problems. Stephanie Hon made it so easy for us. We met and accomplished our goals online, never having to leave our home. Along the way we were advised of things we had never thought of, and she took care of those things to protect us and made sure our wishes would be followed. Some people think that estate planning is simple to do. Let me tell you, it is not. There are many things that could throw a wrench into your plans should you use an attorney that is not up to date or as thorough as Stephanie Hon. We went to her office for the signing, and she had two witnesses there for us. We did not have to seek out our own. Stephanie Hon made it easy for us. If you want your life to be a bit simpler so you have time to enjoy it, pick someone who can do that for you. That person is Stephanie Hon.

My husband and I recently used the Law Offices of Stephanie D. Hon to help put together an estate plan for our family.
