Doug is an awesome person...and an even better lawyer. He's very easy to talk to and doesn't talk down to you like some lawyers do. I'm gonna be real in this review.. I was freaking out when I was arrested. It's something I never thought would happen to me. He was able to get a class A misdemeanor.. where I read I could go to jail for days... down to just 24 hours of community service and two online classes. And the charge was DISMISSED. I was charged with "resisting arrest" which he informed me was not true. That the childlike cop was just angry because I was talking s--t to him.  Resisting involves physically pulling away, etc. Which I was not doing. Doug will be straight forward.. He will help you. He will put your mind at ease and he will work to get the BEST deal for you. I would recommend Doug to anyone and I think he truly cares about his clients as if they were his own family. In fact I know he does. Edited to say that he also got two lesser charges completely dismissed, I would even consider him a friend. He asked me how my family was doing during hurricane Harvey. That is a person who CARES. I would recommend him to anyone that needs help. He will do whatever it takes to give you what the best deal is out there. Both of my class c charges were dropped!!! Thank you Doug!!!! I will be recommending anyone his way!

Don't contact this firm. They just want money and give no help. I have to drive 4 hours to visit with an attorney and needed a few questions answered before I made an appointment and made the long drive there basically wanted to see if I even had a case didnt want to waste their time or mine. I was told I had to come in and pay before I could even talk to anyone I even offered to pay over the phone just to answer a few questions and was told no. They are stuck up and not friendly at all.

Me and my husband hired Douglas Atkinson and him and his team did an outstanding and amazing job. Our case was a little different from most people and me and my husband was scared to death because of our situation and Douglas and his team took our case and put the hammer on it! They were so awesome, We went from scared for our family to having faith in him and his team and they all did their job very well! I will use them for anything in the future that they deal with if I need it. He is the best lawyer! Douglas and his team did exactly what he said he knew he could do and I was just amazed honestly!
