I am extremely satisfied and pleased with Stephen Higdon, Michael Lyons and Melinda Goens at Lyons & Simmons. This was my first time using any law firm. For myself and probably any other person going though this experience for a first time, it can be a heavy weight on your shoulders finding the right law firm as well as trust who you are working with. I interviewed with 3 other law firms and before speaking with Michael Lyons. After 5 minutes of a phone call with Mike, I quickly made the decision to choose them. Mike and his team were more concerned with my health than any outcome this case could have led too. Mike then introduced me to Stephen Higdon who would oversee my case to give me great details on his process and the process we would soon follow. Updates and Follow up: Stephen Higdon who I had worked with directly had consistent follow up, giving extreme detail to me and my family so that we could make great decisions throughout.. Stephen is very analytical in his thoughts and delivery and gives you an amazing amount of information to alleviate any stress that I thought would come from this process. My words in this review could not express how comforted I was knowing that Stephen was doing everything in his power to ensure my comfort through my case. Ironically, when my wife would ask me if I heard from Mike or Stephen, I would usually just go to my email and see an update from him, or a voice mail with detailed information on the progress and next steps. Paperwork: Melinda Goens was an amazing and sweet person to contact to send any files or get in contact with Stephen or Mike if they were unavailable. She was quick to respond to any documents needed or files that needed to be delivered. Overall: If there were more stars to to add to the review I would rate them at 10! They exceeded my expectations! My family and I are extremely happy and comfortable knowing we chose such a great company to work with and continue to work with in the future! A great amount of thanks goes out to the Lyons & Simmons, LLP team!

A fatal plane crash left my family in complete agony. As a young widow and mother to an infant, I was terrified and uncertain of how to move forward in a world where everything had been uprooted. Lyons & Simmons quickly became the glue that held our family together. Their entire team took me by the hand led me into the next phases of my life with both confidence and tenderness. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit one week after the accident, Lyons & Simmons continued to work diligently amidst worldwide shutdowns. As fiercely as they fight for their clients, they are genuine and sincere in their work. They are not calloused by their clients’ tragic experiences, and through them I have found support in every way. My questions are met with well-rounded and timely answers. My P.I.L. began with Shane Mullen of Mullen & Mullen and they were great! They had helped my husband a few years prior so we knew choosing them was a good choice. Fortunately enough, they asked for the help of Chris Simmons. Chris and his assistant Melinda were great! I spent 3 (long) years going through this lawsuit and they were more than happy to answer any questions or concerns I had during that time. Melinda was a sweetheart every time I had to come to the office. She even offered to share her snack drawer with me because I was so nervous. In the end, the outcome was better than any of us could have asked for and I’m so thankful I went through Mullen and Mullen because if I hadn’t, I wouldn’t have met Chris! He was not only knowledgeable about the situation, he was kind. I would consider him a friend and if, God forbid, something were to happen again, I would choose him again.
