I am uncertain why this firm of Rob Wiley is in everyone’s referral list or why they have a reputation of being a closer with results because THEY ARE NOT.
I preface this review by my personal experience with this firm and this is my opinion.
I contacted the firm of Rob Wiley in the spring of 2023 and paid the expensive consultation fee to speak with Deontae an attorney at the firm who told me that he could get me a settlement of $39-$40k but my employer would ask me to resign. I had filed with the EEOC so I decided not to pursue at this time.
In September I was terminated when my employer was served with a charge and I contacted Rob Wiley again in February 2024 after failed efforts with the previous employer through the EEOC. I had to pay yet another consultation fee because I was then told that the consultation fee was only good for 30 days. I contacted them because the first consultation, Deontae was so cocky and arrogant that I gathered he knew what he was doing and would get results – BIG MISTAKE
Would have been nice to know that up front when the first one was conducted. After voicing my disgust with having to pay another consultation fee when the 30 day rule was not communicated with me, he agreed to give me a slight discount. He would not give me his retainer fee until I paid for the consultation. The first time I have ever seen an attorney not give their fee until you paid them a consultation fee.
I completed the consultation and he gave me his retainer fee. We reviewed the contract days later and he assigned my case to Harjeen. I was not too impressed by her from the start because she did not seem to have the fire in her approach that was needed but I gave her the benefit of the doubt.
As weeks went on, I could see that she really was not a strong attorney and when we spoke I would ask her questions and she would respond saying “I do not have a crystal ball” or something sarcastic like that. A couple months passed and she informed me that all that time she was unable to get the defense atty on the phone. MAJOR PROBLEM.
At this point Deontae or Rob Wiley should have stepped in because anytime an atty cannot get defense atty on the phone, there is a reason. Well more months passed and there was no reasonable offer and she said she still was not able to get the other attorney on the phone.
About three weeks or so ago Harjeen called me to inform me that there had still been no communication from the other side and this firm would not have the capacity to take this case to court and she said that her experience in suing this company with this defense atty in the past was they would move if we sent them the lawsuit draft and right to sue letter from the EEOC.
Thinking her experience she said she had with this company and her mindset, I took her at her word and gave approval to request the right to sue letter from EEOC.
Receiving the right to sue letter, a plaintiff has 90 days from the date of the letter to file a suit. She gave them a 2 week deadline to respond and they did not and then she sends me an email telling me that my case with them had closed on 7/30/2024.Her experience was yet again lacking solid results.
This was thousands of dollars wasted and the fact that they do a client like this should be criminal. The fact that Deontae would not give me a retainer fee amount until I paid another consultation fee, made me believe they were about their business but obviously they are not able to deliver on the result to match his arrogance or either they were intimidated by the other firm. Either way, they did not deliver -
How they are referred is one thing but I know I would not rely on the firm of Rob Wiley to argue a traffic ticket for me.

My attorney's name with Rob Wiley, P.C. was Austin Campbell. He was reassuring and was very clear on what was going to happen and what to expect. He answered my questions and told me not to worry. He know exactly what he was doing and cared about how I was feeling. As a result, there were no surprises. Now that this is over, I can't recommend him enough for his skills and "bedside manner". I hope I never need an attorney again, but if I do, I'll know who to call. Thanks!

This place is unprofessional and ghetto.
I didn’t even get to do a consultation because I couldn’t get past how unprofessional the initial contact was. I think this speaks volumes if I did decide to move forward.

Rachel Bethel was handling my case and she is wonderful. She’s smart, sharp, feisty and has a lot of fight in her. Very knowledgeable and is very patient and thorough. I didn’t get the outcome we hoped for, but that wasn’t because of her, that was my timing. Please ladies, if someone is inappropriate with you, just scream and let the whole office know what happened, it’s not worth it to try and just be professional and do your job. I wish I didn’t wait to get retaliated against. You want someone in your corner to be your legal voice, get Rachel Bethel, she will keep fighting til the end!!!!!

Save your money and go elsewhere!! Deonte seemed genuine and seemed to understand our goal. Unfortunately Austin Cambell was assigned to me. They told me to give them about 3-4 months to handle my case. 1 year later, the case still isn’t done and he came to me with a ridiculous offer. Complete waste of money! Run!!!

My attorney's name with Rob Wiley, P.C. was Rachel Bethel. Rachel is the attorney that will restore your trust and faith back into the profession. I say this, not only because of her experience, knowledge, integrity and skillful methods, but also because she truly and sincerely cares about her clients. She cared about me. And she showed this in her words and her actions. I am happy my ordeal is completed to my satisfaction, however, if I ever need an attorney again, I hope to have the good fortune to find one exactly like Rachel.

Five stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I cannot recommend Deontae Wherry enough! From the moment I spoke with him, I felt confident that I was in the right hands. He knew right away that my employer treated me unfairly and committed to seeking justice and holding them accountable for their wrong doing. Deontae demonstrated exceptional expertise and dedication in handling my case. His strategic approach and thorough understanding of employment law led to a victorious outcome! Throughout the process, he was always available to answer my questions, provided clear guidance, and treated me with utmost respect and empathy. He not only fought tirelessly for my rights, but also gave me the support and reassurance I needed during a very challenging time. If you are facing workplace discrimination, do yourself a favor and hire Deontae Wherry—he truly is the best in the field!

This place is a joke. I called to talk to an attorney and the receptionist is completely rude. She then hung up on me and every time I call back to speak with her supervisor she recognizes the number and send you to their fax line. Avoid this attorney. They should fire their receptionist immediately.
