Wonderful service from Harjeen. She’s a pleasure to work for and fought for my case as if it were her own. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone I know!

I was curious regarding an issue with an employer and their actions. At intake I went into explicit details and was instructed to speak further with an attorney. In a nutshell the attorney said,"Texas is VERY Pro-Employer. You'd have to have literally a criminal or flagrant claim in order for it to even be considered"
Now, for me who is not a "Legal eagle" I find it troubling that this information could have been conveyed at my intake! Even if the party asking questions is not an attorney it would be of great decision consideration of moving forward if that non legal information had been provided!.
That answer cost me roughly $200 dollars for a 2 minute call.
And attorneys wonder why their ridiculed!!

I had a consultation paid a lot for it, by my standards, and then they show up late. The attorney was professional and of course had an excuse. We can all be understanding over a few minutes.
Several days ago I wanted to consult with the attorney again. The biggest problem with this office is the staff I believe. The person who set the appointment came across as if I was interrupting her day. Came across as downright rude.
Fast forward to today. I called to see about canceling I had spoken with a different attorney and had better experience and so I didn't want to waste anyone's time. Being thoughtful, I was prepared to go through with consultation if not refundable maybe it would be worthwhile. I asked if it were eligible for refund. She said the refund period is 24 hours notice.
My appointment was 3:00 Friday and it was 3:07 on Thursday not to mention the time she took to look up the appointment and so forth. She refused to cancel with refund. Ok, but if that is the case don't show up to the appointment 15 minutes or more late this time.
10 minutes later or so I got a call back from someone even far more ruder than the first person I spoke person. She had the audacity to call me and talk down to me saying how dare I tell them to show up on time. I'm not exactly sure what else she said cause I was in shock I couldn't believe this business was being this unprofessional. She used this as preface to cancel the appointment and in my personal option still $250. Staffers can say whatever they want that is fine at end of day I think the way they handled was downright unprofessional. Sure there is room for improvement on my side but it wasn't without what I felt was instigation.
They basically took my money and canceled on me. I say they are more than within their rights to cancel any appointment but to take $250 without rendering services when you are the one who canceled without what I believe most people would think is a not a valid reason.
Granted disagreements happen all the time but you can't take money without rendering services. The staff's attitude here is atrocious and hope others don't have this experience. They may have kept the $250 without offering the consultation because of a mere 5-10 minutes but I take that as a discount compared to what I perceive I could've lost.
