I'm not sure if all bankruptcy law firm's run like this. This is my first time filing bankruptcy and I do believe I made a mistake going through allmand law! They lost two important documents so I had to resend again. They don't give you all the details till you sign and make it legal. I'm unable to pay the trustee payment so my options is to have my case dismissed or convert to a chapter 7 so that's pretty much what I had to do but the catch is in order to do so they charge $2,000 which wasn't explained to me till I told them I will convert! Then if you leave a bad rating they call you and beg you to change the rating to a five star!if I knew all this would happen i would have continued my payment through the bank!

Very professional and respectful

I wouldn’t recommend this place! When we first went in looking into filing a Chapter 7 we were advised that everything would be good, and giving out circumstances we needed to file as soon as possible. We paid them within two weeks $2,200. Second appointment went fine made sure all our paperwork was in we were good to go! Third appointment we get there and wait 1 1/2 hours and they come tell us the system is down and all the lawyers went home. I get aggravated them all of a sudden they magically find a lawyer to talk to us. She gets our information, says I’ll call you Monday to do the signing. Monday comes I call her now she says we don’t qualify for Chapter 7 we have to do a Chapter 13 which we expressed from day one we were only interested in a Chapter 7. Now, I’m currently trying to see what’s up with my money because they literally worked two days and filed nothing! But of course the systems are down and no one is available for me to talk to.
