I recently found myself with the critical need for legal services in order to guide me and my family through the confusing and complicated Social Security Disability application process. I started to research law firms who said they had the relevant experience we needed. However I quickly learned some of these firms were merely national front groups with no local ties to Dallas or even Texas. I decided to stay local and seek firms who believe in customer service. We found such a firm right here in Dallas Texas. The Franklin Law Firm had a fantastic and inviting web site that included free information. I called and within hours I received a return call and thus began an excellent professional relationship with Ms. Bianca Palacios (Case Manager).
Blanca personally assisted us with explaining the process and finalizing our application since Social Security lost my on line application. Her professional and friendly nature was calming, reassuring and led to my successful award of disability.
I encourage everyone to obtain professional legal services when dealing with Social Security like the excellent Franklin Law Firm.

This is not a review based on my experience with the Franklin Firm. I have no clue who he is and have never used or been employed by him. However; I wanted to counter the negative annotations that personal injury attorney's get related to the process of bringing a claim against a negligent party.
I have worked for several Personal injury attorneys, to include but not limited to, Jim Adler & Associates. I know the process of bringing an injury claim against a negligent parties insurance and the time it takes to recover a monetary settlement. What you have to understand is that the process is not something that happens over night. There are several factors that determine the time in which it takes to bring a claim to resolution. Some of these factors are:
1. Investigation - After filing a claim with the insurance carrier, the insurance carrier has a right, and a duty to their insured, to do a complete investigation. This investigation can take several weeks or months to complete. There are several reasons it could take this long from the fact that witnesses will not call them back, to the fact it can take weeks to obtain a police report. The attorney and his/her employees have absolutely NO CONTROL over this.
2. Treatment - No Personal injury attorney can settle a claim until you have completed your medical treatment as the value of your case is based on the medical treatments you receive. Again, The attorney and his/her employees have absolutely NO CONTROL over this.
3. Settlement Value - The insurance companies sole purpose is to diminish the value of your claim and pay as little as possible. It is the attorney's responsibility to prove your claim and try to get the most compensation available. Unfortunately, the days of getting double or even triple the meds is gone. You can thank George Bush for that (and yes I voted for him). These days, an attorney is lucky to get offered the meds. Then the attorney has to go back to your doctors and negotiate better pricing on your bills so that he/she can put some money in your pocket.
I understand that everyone wants to get paid as soon as possible, but give the attorney's a break. They are working for you to get the best settlement value possible. They could rush and settle for the first low offer that the insurance company provides, but no, they fight. And remember, they are doing all of this-spending money out of their own pocket to build your case-on a contingency fee, meaning they too are waiting to get paid.
As for the case moving from person to person within the firm. Unfortunately, we live in a society where loyalty is found in fewer and fewer people. People chase money, so if they are offered a little more money at another law firm, they jump on it. Turnover in this industry is similar to most others as a result. Due to the turnover, cases sometimes get shifted to other employees. Nothing that can be done about it.
So, in closing, I as one of those employees that get jumped on daily by clients that are angry, remember, we are on the same team. I am busting my behind to build your case and get the most compensation I can for you. I get nothing from it but the sheer joy of knowing I helped the little guy/gal defeat big business (insurance company). Know that yelling, cursing, and demeaning us does not make us want to work any harder for you.
Best of luck on your cases and I hope for a great outcome.

My sister and my kids were in an accident at the beginning of last year and it still has not settle as of yet. They keep switching from person to person it is very annoying, they keep telling us OK next week next week that week still hasn't gotten here. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Jason and his team were totally on it in my case. He is a man of God and extremely fair and transparent. No games, no smoke blowing, just to the point lawyers who know what they are doing.
