I was put on child support at a time where I should have never been put on child support. Miss Julie C. Reedy was able to turn everything around in my favor. I asked for one thing and Ms. Reedy help me to get more done in my case than I could imagine. She's very firm and easy to work with. I will love to work with miss Reedy in the near future. Definitely recommend her.

This attorney is dirty. If you’re going against her it’s in your best interest to seek counsel. She will manipulate the court in what she believe is in favor of her client. Even if that means lying. My daughter’s father hadn’t had a relationship with our daughter since she was three months . He never attempted to see her while his order was 200 a month and several thousands of dollars in arrears. Yet, became upset when they discovered he was a truck driver making over 5000 a month and increasing his support. Is when he decided to get an attorney and quit the job that was traceable. He requested the court to give him a DNA test even with signing the AOP and it was denied. Then Reedy came in saying I forced him to sign and I was a one night stand. Really, 16 years later? So, even with it being lies they ordered the DNA and guess what she was his child. So, current support doesn’t end which was the goal. Then he started saying how I kept her away and he didn’t know where I stayed because the order didn’t supply it because he threaten my life because of the child support he was ordered when she was six. When I sent communication we had the year before where he didn’t want to see her. Reedy went as far as to tell the courts she didn’t have my address but had sent a certified letter days before lying to the judge. She also stated I had an extensive criminal record knowing I didn’t but her client did. She would also state I was the one to threaten her client who was afraid of me. I stand 5’2 and this guy is about 5’11 and 300 and something pounds. In the time of going to court I lost a child but didn’t stop them from attacking me any way possible. I even started having issues with our daughter skipping school. She ended up going to his house months after running off at 17 and he didn’t reach out or say anything. Reedy filed for him to get custody while lying saying I beat my daughter. When my daughter wouldn’t testify to the lie and being unaware I wasn’t trying to fight this guy. Being our daughter was safe that’s all that mattered. I didn’t have any fight in me with my 20 year old son dying while in college. I gave custody without a fight agreeing to pay child support for the next 6 months until she turned 18. Well, not even two months later my daughter was calling me saying she had been staying with a friend because her father’s wife was dying and she couldn’t lift the wife while he was out. So, he was sending her away since she couldn’t help him at the moment. He would take her phone bill money out of the child support I sent and send her the rest. He initially stated give him time and she could come back but discovered that was not true when he originally sent her away. As we returned to court after she turned 18. Reedy and her client decided to lie once again. She stated in a document she filed my daughter was kicked out from being a wild child and disrespectful. Instead of just telling the truth her client was never prepared for the responsibility. My daughter had text messages showing the reason she was sent to her friend and it wasn’t the lie they told. They also didn’t mention she 17 at the time he did this. She was 18 when we went to court and truth she learned a lesson. He later cursed my daughter out and told her never to contact him again. It wasn’t a surprise to me but the facts still remain how dirty they fought. The lies they told the judge may have worked a little but the real judge our God doesn’t forget. Some may like Reedy because of lies she willing to tell but there’s no honor in that.

My husband and I hired Mrs. Reedy after she was referred to us and after interviewing numerous attorneys. Mrs. Reedy listened to us, she was very professional and always prompt in her responses back to us. Not only did we get his oldest child "officially placed with us" (the child was already living with us) but she able to get child support eliminated including arrearages. If you are looking for a knowledgeable, professional and detailed oriented attorney, I would recommend give you her a try.
