I cannot imagine how I would have navigated this season without Robert. His advice and wisdom made this ordeal manageable, peaceful, and as easy as possible in a very complex case. I would HIGHLY recommend Robert for any divorce and/or custody issue.

To be honest and say my honest opinion. Mr. Robert the best lawyer in town or even if your case if out of town. I am very pleased with the outcome of my case. Mr. Thornton really takes care to understand the people he is representing and also to understand the personal and legal challenges they face in their case. He is direct and doesn't waste time but still makes sure you have all the options presented to make an informed decision on how to proceed. He has a special understanding of the human condition that makes him very well suited to handle legal matters where the other party is more difficult to work with. He will be the first person I contact if I am in need of an attorney again.

Robert was very professional. He knows the law very well and cares for his clients. He helped me out with my child support case after my ex wife sued me. He represented me well, never letting me get taken advantage of. I would highly recommend Robert! I also want to add after reading some of the reviews about Robert people are upset that he makes $350 and hour. I just want to defend him and say good lawyers cost money. I think Robert was worth every penny. He’s an extremely competent lawyer if you want cheap go with someone else... you want to win your case go with Robert.

This lawyer did not mention facts that I had provided him with. His communication lacked, he hardly told me what the other parties were responding in emails. Let alone when they responded with legal documents they made me seem at fault. When In all reality I provided evidence. My affidavit had leaked to the other party and this lawyer did not have my best intentions at heart. He kept asking for more money. And charges $87 for listening to a voicemail? He doesn’t pick up phone calls or even communicates about the what I needed to be said in the responses. Wasted my time and money!!!!! Do not trust him especially if you are going through a tough time in life! He frankly doesn’t care! I’m so happy he’s off my case!

Robert did great things for my family. He was able to find a way out of an almost impossible situation. Thanks Robert!

I can't say that I like lawyers but I got to hand it to Robert. I was in a crisis and needed help. Robert is so calm and professorial in the court room, he is always in control. Never once did he beat around the bush, he was always straight forward with me. Not all lawyers are just trying to squeeze every dime out of you. Some of them actually care and are passionate about helping people. I have had lawyers in the past and been so disappointed. Robert is the only lawyer I know who will get back with you the same day and not hide. He is truly a good person and an amazing lawyer in the court room.

I hired Mr. Thornton to handle my highly contested divorce/child custody case. Mr. Thornton made sure to keep me informed every step of the way with great detail. He worked in making sure decisions made were going to be what was best for me and my children in the long run. He fought for us. I was concerned about the financial aspect of this divorce and Mr. Thornton made sure to provide detailed invoices with all the work that was being put into my case. I saw where every dime was going.
