Verner, Brumley, Mueller, & Parker are first class and best in the game. I had gone through multiple attorneys and kept coming up short with empty promises, a lot of wasted time, and wasted money. I had the privilege of working with Rob and Shane and they were pillars of professionalism and determination! My mind was at ease knowing they had the ball, and their skill was unwavering and unmatched. Becky Rodriguez, their office partner and the sturdy rock for the business, was with me every step of the way and had just as much vested in my case as they did! When I first went in to see Jim, I told him my ex and I only needed someone to file paperwork for us. We were separating with love in our hearts. Then the unthinkable happened. Someone filed an intervention on our divorce, which started a two year legal war. The man had little standing but was ruthless in hiring more lawyers with bigger reputations (and bigger fees) than the state of Texas and just would not give up! Jim won every battle, every time. More than that; he used timing to our favor when filing for restraining orders and such; even (with my expressed permission) worked with my ex-husband to help us beat this psycho who intervened. He nailed it every single time he had to deal with opposing council. Jim was very clear, professional, and even fun to work with. He had my back when I was too stressed and worried to have my own. When I would send scared and belligerent emails, he was calming and clear in all his replies. Never misrepresenting the truth, never making me feel bad for being irrational if I was being emotional. Even now, when modifications need to be taken care of in the decree, he is sure to explain things clearly and gives me my options clearly- even pointing out when I am not seeing the full picture. He has somehow managed to keep my ex-husband liking him and understanding me while getting my ex to give me more money (that takes some skill). His staff is amazing and prompt. I cannot recommend this man and his staff highly enough

Mr. Mueller is a very honest, straight forward and knowledgeable attorney. He is prompt and communicates very effectively. It is hard to find someone whose main objective is to give his client the best advice possible under any given circumstances. The facts of my case didn't leave much room for a great outcome however, Mr. Mueller's experience with the Courts and his advice resulted in the best possible outcome for me. Trust me, not everything he had to say made me happy but he did his job. He always had my best interest at heart and fully explained everything to me. There is no doubt that I would recommend him to anyone seeking family law advice.

I hired Jim because he knew my case when he worked at a law firm that handled my divorce. Fast forward eight years and I needed a lawyer to enforce my decree and modify it somewhat. A year and a half and $20,000 later, nothing was accomplished. He takes no responsibility for his errors and can not deliver on his promises. I would have been better off representing myself than paying Jim Mueller.
