In 2005, a family member was presented with a Federal Indictment. Additionally, I was presented with an order from a Federal DOJ branch. They were on the first part of a hunt to indict even more people and it seems the DOJ does not care if they indict an innocent person or not, quoting the famous line that they "...could indict a ham sandwich." They let it be known that I was a "person of interest" which is almost a guarantee of indictment it seems.
I met with, and then hired David Finn. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made in my life. It was also reassuring when I told the other attorneys that I interviewed who I was going with, they all collectively said "Oh, wow, you got Finn?"
Over the course of the following six (yes six) years, I was hounded and threatened by the DOJ for an indictment. During that time, the only reason I was not indicted was because of David. David believed in me. He fought for me. He kept me apprised of any updates and met with me anytime I needed him. He also took all of my phone calls, or was prompt in returning them. Additionally, after the threat was officially cleared, he kept in touch to see how I was doing and also offered to look over some correspondence I received from the DOJ, did not charge me for it, and called me to let me know all was ok.
I could go on with a lot of platitudes, but let me list one that is very sincere.
If ANY of my family or friends required legal representation, I would without hesitation and with passion recommend David Finn. Throughout this ordeal I have been exposed to many, many attorneys. NONE of them with the integrity, compassion, and ability to kick ass like Finn. Any other choice would, in my mind, be a grave mistake.
In a world of attorneys that will gladly take your money, not meet with you, not return phone calls, and leave you feeling all alone against the world, it is nice to have a fighter like Finn.

David Finn is a terrific lawyer and a true client advocate. I was charged with felony from the State of Texas on a mediocre at best case that took David nearly 4 years to resolve. He recommended I not settle, not take the State of Texas’s offer and fight in court and win a non-guilty verdict. We fought and won and David in the court room was not only commanding but impressive to watch through my trial. Although each case is different and each outcome is different my recommendation would be to hire the best attorney you can afford and hope for the best. David Finn is as good as it gets and will undoubtedly provide the best opportunity for you either in trial or outside court in making a nightmare go away.
