Started a motion without consulting me. She used false information and made up evidence. She was rude, unprofessional and did not answer my questions/concerns even after demanding payment. I am in the process of file a grievance with the State Bar of TX.

Monique is Amazing!! I met her under the circumstances of having no bond allowed an she was able to convince the judge for a bond when I was told by many attorney’s that it was impossible. Very pleasant to speak with and very informative, always willing to assist on any measures. She works with you at all times of the day. Monique recently helped complete a custody battle from 2014 which we avoided incarceration. Monique reinsured me and guided me through each step. “I WALKED FREE”. I highly recommend Monique! She is rude and non informative She wasn’t helping me at all but made the case worse.

Monique was very rude hardly gets back to her customers and instead of finding a solution she only made the situation worse I went to another lawyer and this person had the answers I needed.

I hired Monique for a nasty custody and divorce case in 2019. After numerous false reports and investigations she never left my side. She always believed in me and pointed me in the right direction. She was always there to answer my questions and support me. After numerous court dates, my case was finally over in 2021 and she got me exactly what I wanted in the custody of my child. I COULD HAVE NEVER MADE IT WITHOUT HER! She will fight for her clients and their rights and tell you step by step what you need to do in any situation. She never gives up. I was blessed to have Monique as my attorney and will always go back to her for any help I need. I recommend Monique 100%.

I must say my experience with Monique was amazing. I consulted with and hired Monique Walters on the spot in 2012 to help with my custody battle and child support order. She is very professional, and is in it to win it. Great location, she is definitely there when it comes to her clients. I will always recommend her in a heartbeat.

I hired Mrs.Walters on 12-8-18 . She requested 710 in a week which I paid her but she never did anything in my case. I fired her before the my hearing and she refused to refund my money even though she did not do anything on my case. She is very rude , unprofessional, and incompetent attorney. Please do not waste your time or money with this « attorney «  . I only hired her for two weeks before I realize she was not doing anything but waiting time out to not do any work in my case and take my money . Unfortunately, I didn’t read other reviews on her until after I had hired her. Sadly on those reviews state the same thing I experienced with her . I feel so bad for others that have to deal with her inadequate service. I pray that she gets disbarred and put out of practice for how she treats her clients . Please don’t hire this woman if your case is important to you.

Her appearance in court was unprofessional. She appeared to be dressed for going to a club or bar. She gave me false information and encouraged me to sign a temporary order that resulted in me not getting child support and was signed under false information she provided me with. She wouldn't return my phone calls, texts, emails. She is uncaring and unsympathetic. She was demanding the $500 that I still owed for the retainer fee amount. When I expressed my concern with the lack of representation she provided and the fact that she wasn't following through on what she said she would do and the lack of communication and concern and also that she failed to reply back to my husband's attorney many times, she replied by telling me she would withdraw from my case. I had to hire a new attorney. I am out $2,000 that I paid to Ms. Walters and had to pay another retainer to my new attorney. I was informed, by the new attorney, that she handled my case improperly and gave me false information, which greatly affected the situation and livelihood of myself and my 2 children. I recommend seeking counsel through another attorney. You will likely regret ever speaking with Ms. Walters, just as I do. It's very unfortunate and disheartening to be treated in such a way by someone you put your complete trust into.
